I didn’t watch. I couldn’t. It was too painful. Hitlery is going to have to fight hard to beat Obama.
I just hope the Dems keep making monumental mistakes...
(But I’m going on the record right now: Arkansas’ ex-guv, Huckabee, scares the living daylights out of me.)

“Training films?”
What “training films?” Why didn’t I get a memo on it? Was there a memo? Who’s in charge, here?

Usually I like to stay up and watch all the election coverage...after about 5 minutes of seeing all the gloating over McCainiac’s wins and Huchabonehead’s ‘surprises’ I shut it all off. Very depressing.

I don’t watch that “coverage” for the simple reason that most of it is fluff, and the talking heads are only trying fill the time allotted.
I get much more the next day, by getting the recaps. All I need is the results, not opinions on the results. I can form my own opinions.
Hiya, rottie! *hug*

Politics just messes things up anyway. I was in a bad mood this morning because of that and other reasons.

Hitlery is going to have to fight hard to beat Obama. Huh. I noticed that a recent (current) issue of Seattle's liberal (gay?) weekly(?) paper, The Stranger, carried a headline on the order of "Let Him Not Be Assassinated" -- or something like that.
Maybe they're beginning to recognize the monster they've nurtured for so long...

Usually I like to stay up and watch all the election coverage... Me too, but after trying to catch up on FR after our (Super) Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, I bagged it. The teeheevee stayed off.
An amusing comment on one of the Anglican threads -- the Romans throw the biggest party on the planet, and the Anglicans go eat pancakes.
(I may go to bed with a stomach-ache, but at least I don't wake up with a hangover.)

What were you doing reading that paper? I wasn't. A decade or so ago we had a programmer who read it, and one look at a copy left in the office was all I needed. I happened to pass by a rack with some copies in it and saw the headline. No more.

"What were you doing reading that paper?" Yeah, see, he only admitted to reading the headline.
The body of the article showed an entirely different slant to the story.

Good night! I’m on my way to bed, as soon as the catz are fed and the next load of laundry is in the dryer. Tomorrow is Scout Day. I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

A bad mood in the morning just makes the entire day ugly. I don’t have time for that because life is too short to waste on “bad moods.”
And there is no cure for politics. It will always be with us.

There are worse things to do with your life than eat pancakes. I, for one, find pancakes quite enjoyable. Especially with real maple syrup...

Actually, I have a killer waffle recipe. They melt in your mouth, because they are made with egg whites.
There are only two things better than my waffles: Chocolate and sex...and not necessarily in that order. ;o])

I lived in the great northwest as a kid, Port Townsend. Because I left at a young age I recall it as a place where you would hear church bells Sunday morning calling people to worship. Not at the right time for my church. You could hear clearly on cloudy days. There were really cool great big giant slugs, you could pick up snakes with out fear and you could fiance yourself by looking for old pop bottles. The only bad thing was the paper mill stuck. I lived up wind but coming into town I would hold my breath. I haven't been back and would like to think nothing has changed.
Plese help me maintain the non-fantisty.

Trust me...nothing has changed.
The paper mills still suck, the air still looks cloudy, and the slugs are still HUGH!!!
