I was oddly missing, but now I am oddly here.
We had a Missouri District Pastors' Conference Sunday-Tuesday.
I use the same “Sacred Money” technique in Vegas. If I find that I’m 20 bucks or more ahead I cash out, replace it with a $5 bill and don’t cash the ticket till it’s time to go home. it feels good leaving with that money in my pocket.

BTW, COME BACK, PETRONSKI! I miss your contributions to the DUFUs (like the magenta Freudenschade graphic)! I know PJ has expressed a preference for Romney, but I don't think he has been nasty about it. I myself am backing Thompson, but I don't have a problem with PJ's good-natured kidding about "President Romney." It's been done in FUn.

It is time that we formed a united front in the face of republican aggressors. Republicans are corrupt and conscienceless, and use hate, lies, and aggressive behavior/violence in order to get their way. These people are are generally ignorant and compassionless human beings, and they are destroying our country. It is time to stand up and call them on their bullshit. Just say "no" to republicans.
Great! I, personally, am all for this idea....
We'll start with the military. All of the Republicans in the military can just leave this idiot alone. National Guard, too.
Then, we can move on to other fairly conservative bastions....finance (so no banks), Emergency services (so no police, fire, or EMTs) and Farming (no food). Then, we can move on to Engineers (no planes trains automobiles communications, power, water, etc etc etc).
Finally, when this guy is reduced to making his own clothes, eating whatever is left over at his local organic co-op, and living in the top of a tree because no one will protect him from roving bands of independent-minded thugs...we can ask him just how much he likes the things that Republicans provide.
Personally, I can live without Starbucks lattes and overrated offBroadway plays - things that libs provide. It's harder to get by without power and water. Like 'em or not, Conservatives (generally) are the people that make things go.
