Your boy, unlike several other candidates, can’t even break out of the single digits in national polls.

Your boy, unlike several other candidates, cant even break out of the single digits in national polls.
You can trust the national polls all you want and tout their numbers till the cows come home.
I, on the other hand, give them no credence whatsoever recognizing that they're predominantly run by left wing liberal establishments.
To: philman_36
Paul has zero chance of winning the Republican nomination much less the presidency because his cut-and-run Iraq policy is abhorred by real conservatives not to mention his blatant hypocrisy regarding support of the Constitution.

Thanks for sharing your opinion with me.

Yes, go Dr. Paul... right on over to the Democratic party where you belong.
LOL! If your brief posting history here is any guide noob, you'd be more comfortable in the DU party. Blackbird.

We are facing national peril if we pull out of the Middle East. Russia and China will fill the vacuum.
If we embark on an aggressive plan reduce our oil imports from 60% to zero with conversion to nuclear electricity, electric based transportation and developing our domestic oil shale, we might be able to survive them stepping in to dominate the Middle East.
We haven't done this and it may take 20 years to achieve energy independence. Even If we did the transition, China and Russia would have their hands on the puppet strings that the rest of the worlds economies dance to.
Believe me, it is a matter of national peril and world wide peril. Someone will lead the free world and the fight for freedom. I keep looking toward the bench for fighters, but the bench is rather thin.
It has been a struggle to keep freedom alive. It doesn't come naturally and is not spontaneous. Freedom isn't free.
Non-interventionists trust that Western values are persuasive on their own terms, and become correspondingly less so when they are imposed on societies at gunpoint.
Evil men armed with biological weapons and nuts with nukes will always trump the peoples desire for Western values. One only has to look at Iran to see the oppressed younger generation that are quite taken by Western values.

Thanks there Phil, it has been a while since I have been graded.
I am usually typing quickly on a Treo. It makes reviewing difficult. I am also dyslexic, yet I never used it as a crutch and it has not stopped me from tremendous success in my field.
Seeing that you have put this much effort in “grading “ my post I must conclude that you really don’t have much of a life and that your arguments are as weak as the appear.

Above you asked if I was ignorant. Seeing as how you need a /sarcasm tag for that statement, I am lead to inquire the same of you.

Well that answered my ignorance question....
You need to stay away from sarcasm, it seems beyond your comprehension...
BTW I hope this was grammatically correct in away you found pleasing.

What headline was made up? Ron Paul got 81 percent at an official Republican straw poll, which was widely advertised locally. Question: how many votes did your candidate get? The Alabama Republican Assembly is NOT an "official" Republican organization. It is a state chapter of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. This was not an "official" Republican straw poll. The NFRA is a hardcore conservative organization. While their's is a worthy endeavor to spread conservatism within the Republican Party (they call themselves the "conservative wing" of the party) they are not representative of the entire Republican Party and certainly not of Republican voters in general.

Thanks there Phil, it has been a while since I have been graded.
I wasn't grading you I was observing you.
Based upon the rest of your replies I seem to have pushed the wrong button. (or conversely the right one depending on one's perspective)
To: philman_36
No Phil, no right or wrong button, just bemused interest that you would review my post so throughly. I am sorry that I do not type up to you”r” (I gave you the r from the “premise” post this time)
I just find it entertaining, like so many things from Paul threads. You guys are indeed a trip.

Oh, believe you me I'm getting TONS of entertainment out of your apparent pique as well!
To: Darkwolf377
Very well said. I do think that the vast majority from all of these candidates will jump on board in the end. It is that hard core group that could be an issue, but I think the numbers are low enough and their fellow travelers smart enough in joining the eventual winner that it maybe less of an impact than we think. Of course “same as it ever was” comes to mind.

BTW...
It makes reviewing difficult.
There's this button that says "Preview" on the posting page. There's also this little box that you don't check if you want to preview what you've written before it goes up on the thread. You might consider that as an alternate means of previewing what you've written so that observant folks like myself won't call you on your bona fides.
And as an aside...I've used the exact same methods I used on you to find several people posting on FR who are not "English as first language" people who are students and/or legal immigrants so it's not like I haven't done this before.
To: philman_36
Philbert you couldn’t wound may pride with the wind at your back on a downhill run...
However if I can provide you with a moment of light entertainment, it is a small price to pay for the hours of joy you and your fellow “travelers” have brought to dozens of us on FR...

First, it does not work in the Treo browser, it jumbles the words.
Second, if you run around checking people for grammar and language you really need to get a life, it is doing nothing to dispel the ideas many have about some of you guys...
BTW, one of my Professors in college who over saw our Poly Sci dept. often said that one you attack the delivery in a debate, you lost your own point...
