Terror-Supporting American Imam 'Secretly' Extradited to Israel
Thursday, January 11, 2007 / 21 Tevet 5767
The former imam of Ohio's largest mosque was deported to Israel on a "secret flight" coordinated by the FBI and Israeli security services, according to an official statement released on Thursday.
The Islamic Center of Cleveland's Fawaz Damra had his American citizenship revoked after he was found to have been raising funds for the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in 1991. FBI sources called him a threat to national security, as the United States classifies Islamic Jihad as a terrorist organization. The Islamic Jihad is responsible for many fatal shooting and bombing attacks on civilians and security forces in Israel.
Damra's family requested that he be represented by Attorney Smadar Ben-Natan, who met with her new client on Wednesday at Kishon prison, where he is being held. Ben-Natan said that Damra has yet to be charged with any crimes by Israeli prosecutors, but that he is being closely questioned by Israeli security services. Also on Wednesday, a judge ordered Damra remanded for two weeks, at which time he will again be brought before a judge for a decision regarding further incarceration.
While still in FBI custody, Damra, 46, confirmed to investigators that he had raised money for terrorists, as well as having preached against Israel and the Jews, whom he called "sons of pigs and monkeys." Videotaped lectures with such anti-Semitic incitement were distributed in the US to raise funds for Islamic Jihad.
Other suspicions against Damra were raised in 2004, when it was determined that he had concealed his past associations from American immigration officials ten years earlier. Among the claims US officials have made regarding Damra's past are allegations that he was associated with Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin-Laden and with the murderer of Rabbi Meir Kahane, El-Sayyid Nosair, in the 1980s, that he was involved in counterfeiting and money laundering on behalf of Islamist groups through his mosque, and that he specifically raised funds for families of suicide bombers. He has also been involved in obstructing an FBI investigation.
Damra has claimed, however, that his world-view changed in 1993 when he began to attend university. He also has reportedly worked for organizations focusing on interfaith dialogue, although he did so even as his incitement-filled tapes were still being distributed.
Before details of the arranged extradition were released, it was reported that Damra, who was born in Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria, was to be welcomed into the Palestinian Authority. On Friday, his family members were informed by the Red Cross only that Damra had been detained by the Israelis at a border crossing.

15:33 Jan 11, '07 / 21 Tevet 5767
(IsraelNN.com) IDF troops found weaponry and a pair of shoes hidden near the northern border with Lebanon during a routine patrol by the 12th Golani Battalion.
Various types of portable missiles, a submachine gun and other equipment were found hidden in bushes near Moshav Zirit at the 105 border mark. The site is the same location at which IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were kidnapped by Hizbullah terrorists on July 12th.
Army Radio reported that the findings indicated that least 20 terrorists had participated in the attack which ended with Regev and GoldwasserÂs capture. It was also clear from the evidence that Hizbullah had carried out extensive preparations for the attack.

Iran Plans Imminent Execution of Seven Arabs
05:04 Jan 11, '07 / 21 Tevet 5767
(IsraelNN.com) Three UN human rights investigators on Wednesday accused Iran of planning the imminent execution of seven Arab Iranians sentenced to death after a trial held in secret.
In a joint statement released in Geneva, the investigators said family members of the seven Ahvazi Arabs were informed earlier this week that the executions would happen "in the next few days."
The UN-appointed experts said the prisoners were part of a larger group of Arab citizens of Iran arrested in June 2006 in the oil-rich Khuzestan province, which borders Iraq, on charges including intent to destabilize Iran and overthrow its government.
Iran has a large number of minorties who aren't Farsi-speaking Persian Shi'ites.

BIOLANG the biometrics of body language digitalized human being.
The FRESNO UNCENSORED (DVD) is an instruction manual (a guide) on how to commit a crime (shows various crimes in progress). It was produced by Fresno street gangs and went on sale 06/01/05 in video stores and now is pirated and sold throughout the country. It implies that to be a professional criminal is less risky than to be a fireman or policeman, because the law is very lenient, especially on professional criminals. For example, it is not unusual that a criminal can be released 50 times from prison to commit more crimes and have a mile long rap sheet.
FRESNO UNCENSORED is the straw that broke the camels back. We have launched a counteroffensive to produce THE ULTIMATE CATCH 22 (DVD) an instruction manual on how to prevent crime, with subtitle You cant run or hide, because we know what you are doing 24/7. It is based on the new bio-motion science. It is basically a recording of a persons body motions (body language) which are unique to every person, like fingerprints. (Dont confuse bio-motion with biometrics whereas a person must remain motionless). The bio-motion software chip can be plugged into any present security surveillance camera (cost about $25.00). The camera would record every person passing by and digitalize the body motion into a specific BIOLANG cell (persons body language data cell).
All the cameras in any given city can be connected and form one BIOLANG SECURITY NETWORK.
These cameras can collect the data even if there is not sufficient lighting, if the person is shopping, driving a car, or the criminal is wearing a mask. All the another methods (fingerprints, DNA, biometric, ID. documents, etc.) require a person to be present. The BIOLANG cell makes it possible to follow any persons activities 24/7 and to establish identity (address, phone, SS, profession, criminal record, etc.).
Fresno is the worlds Crime Living Laboratory. It has all the necessary 7 components: 1) Large securities manufacturers, 2) It is known as the capital of street gangs, 3) Has the highest crime rate,
4) Has the highest number of people with rap-sheet and on parole, 5) Has the biggest number of do-gooders organizations supposedly fighting crime, 6) A lenient law dedicated to solicit crime, 7) Mute media and politicians dont react to citizens tips on crime. Fresno is the fastest place to start a new career as a criminal. Just go to store and buy a gun then go to another store and buy the instruction DVD on how to commit a crime, that all there is to it. This city is certainly in line for the Guinness World Record.
The majority of movies, TV shows and video games are patronizing crime and artificially creating sensationalism. The question is why are they soliciting crime? Our guess is that the criminals are very beneficial to our economy. Thanks to crime, the entertainment industry is making big money and the crime is protecting the job security of the 32 million employees of CPI (Crime Processing Industry) that is the lawyers, policemen, prison guards, etc. Understandably, Fresno Police and the Mayor reacted mildly to this DVD; they didnt even take this DVD off the store shelves.
It seems that even the terrorists feel safe in Fresno. Just recently, the first terrorist cell in the U.S. was discovered in the neighboring city of Lodi. Our leaders do not seem to understand that the war in Iraq is not a war but a religious crusade therefore, the war is not winnable (the Christian crusades were going on for the last 2,000 years). However, the difference is that modern technology is making it possible for terrorists to destroy us by using engineered diseases.

Hamas, Islamic Jihad say Rice's Mideast visit "not welcomed"
GAZA, Jan 11 (KUNA) -- Palestinian movements of Hamas and Islamic Jihad said US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice's visit to the Middle East was "not welcomed." Officials from both movements said in press remarks Rice's visit, which includes the West Bank, aimed at "planting seeds of discord among different Palestinian parties." Ismail Radhwan, Hamas spokesman, said Rice's visit to the region and Palestine in Particular was not welcomed.
He accused Rice of "working to plant seeds of discord in the Palestinian arena and pushes the region to a civil war for the service of the Israeli project." Radhwan casted doubt about the real intentions of the US administration vis-a-vis the peace process.
"We got used to seeing the American administration completely biased for the Israeli enemy," he said.
The US state department had announced that Rice would work on pushing forward the peace process, backing stability in Lebanon and supporting the Iraqi government.
Dawood Shehab, a spokesman of the Islamic Jihad, said Rice would work against the Palestinian resistance.
He urged the Palestinian authority to turn a deaf ear to the American demands. (end) zt.

U.S. Embassy in Athens hit in rocket attack
12/01/2007 10:20 ATHENS, January 12 (RIA Novosti) - A shell was fired at the United States Embassy in Athens early Friday morning, but no one was injured, police and the embassy said.
The attackers apparently targeted the U.S. emblem on the embassy building, but smashed through a window on the third floor and damaged toilets.
Police are inspecting nearby buildings, and the adjacent streets have been cordoned off.
The Greek minister of public order, Vyron Plydoras, is also at the scene, consulting security officers near the embassy.
Violent clashes between demonstrators and riot police have been occasionally staged near the American Embassy in Athens. The latest rally occurred last November, when marchers came to the embassy to mark the end of the junta, which ruled in Greece in 1967-1974, and to protest against Washington's support for it as well as the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

UPDATE-1: French confirm Russian tycoon arrest in prostitution case
11/01/2007 21:23 (Adds paragraphs 4-6)
PARIS, January 11 (RIA Novosti) - Prosecutors in France confirmed Thursday that Russian metals tycoon Mikhail Prokhorov and several of his compatriots are being held in custody over alleged involvement in prostitution-related activities.
Prokhorov, a co-owner of Interros, which manages key assets in Russia's nickel, platinum and gold mining sectors, was apprehended Tuesday in the Courchevel ski resort, in the French Alps, when Lyons police raided several hotels in an operation targeting prostitution among minors.
"A total of 26 people, most of them Russians, were detained in the operation, aimed against prostitution involving minors," a source in the Lyons Prosecutor's Office said. "From Courchevel, the detainees were taken to Lyons, where 15 people were released after questioning while the other 11, including Prokhorov, were left in custody."
Lyons' prosecutor said a decision on the detainees' fate will be made Friday. He said most detainees are unlikely to face any charges.
A source in the Russian Embassy in France told RIA Novosti the detainees may be kept in custody for 72 hours. After that, they should be released or face charges. The term of their custody expires Saturday morning.
The source also said the detainees have not asked for consular aid, but an Embassy official has headed for Lyons to meet with them.
Prostitution itself is legal under French law, but profiting from the earnings of prostitutes, and prostitution involving minors, are illegal.
Interros spokesperson Yelena Kovaleva said earlier the company's top management have not received any official notification of Prokhorov's arrest, and that they view it as a "mistake." She said Prokhorov is currently on vacation, and will return to work next Monday.
It remains unclear exactly what accusations have been leveled by French police against Prokhorov, who ranks tenth on Forbes' list of Russian billionaires.
A reporter with the Lyons-based periodical Le Progres said they relate to drugs, prostitution and money laundering.
Prokhorov, a Courchevel regular, is said to throw lavish parties every time he comes to the resort, inviting along dozens of young prostitutes, according to Russian business daily Vedomosti.
The tycoon owns a 54.8% stake in the Russian company Norilsk Nickel, the world's largest producer of nickel and platinum, and 51% in Polyus Zoloto, the country's No. 1 gold mining company.

Russian human rights official blasts new election law
11/01/2007 17:36 MOSCOW, January 11 (RIA Novosti) - A top Russian human rights official criticized Thursday a new election law which significantly limits public control over the election process.
Russia recently abolished the 20% threshold for voter turnout, and canceled early voting and the "against all candidates" option on election ballots at all levels. The Kremlin claims these changes are needed to safeguard the development of Russian democracy from irresponsible marginal parties.
"This law has in practice limited public control over elections to a bare minimum," said Ella Pamfilova, chairman of the Civil Society Institutions and Human Rights Council under the Russian president.
During a Thursday Council meeting attended by President Vladimir Putin, she stressed the importance of civil society in the election process and monitoring of elections, adding that her Council would safeguard political rights of the electorate during the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.
Parliamentary elections in Russia are set for December 2007, to be followed by presidential polls in March 2008.
Pamfilova also said human rights activists were concerned over restrictions on rallies and marches in the country which could only radicalize and marginalize certain groups, instead of letting them openly express their political views.
"We are concerned about the trend toward restricting rallies and marches," she said. "It is easier for regional authorities to ban a public rally than to ensure its security."
Last year, protestors against the G8 summit applied for permission to hold a number of rallies and marches in St. Petersburg while the summit took place in July 2006, but all were turned down except for a Communist Party-sponsored rally.
Pamfilova said at the time she had received written reports of detentions and harassment from 12 would-be participants, and had asked the prosecutor general to launch a probe into protester detentions.
On November 4, 2006, authorities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and some other Russian cities banned the so-called Russian March planned by far ultra-nationalist groups to commemorate National Unity Day, citing public security concerns.

EU-Iran-Liberals /WRD US attack on Iranian consulate unjustifiable provocation: ALDE
Brussels, Jan 12, IRNA
The leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) in the European Parliament, Graham Watson, condemned the raid by US occupation forces on the Iranian consulate in the northern Iraqi city of Arbil Thursday.
"If an American consulate were stormed by a foreign power, there would be a public outcry. The US attack on the Iranian consulate in Arbil, Iraq, is an unjustifiable provocation in an increasingly tense region," said Watson in a statement to IRNA.
"This raid raises questions about President Bush's new strategy on Iraq and the mission of the newly beefed-up American military presence in this country. Iraqi's stability and security should not be used as cover for hostility against other nations", he added.
ALDE is the third-largest political group in the 732-member EP.
