The great thing about these committee chairmanships is that they will go to the Dems with the longest seniority, i.e., those who have survived all 12 years of Republican control. That means that they will go to Dems from the bluest of blue districts, who thus are much more likely to be corrupt and/or FLAT OUT NUTS. This will put their sleaziest and moonbattiest on full display for two whole years going into November of 2008!

Even as this farago is going on, I read a column by that dipstick Thomas Edsall in the Wash Post who went on and on about some supposedly crooked Republican congressman being appointed to some positions in the House. He was never charged, indicted removed, or impeached from anything. BUT HE'S PROBABLY A CROOK!!! according to Mister Edsall is might just be the Edsel of journalists. Big Media lib journalists simply can't bring themselves to admit that fellow libs might be crooks. Even the DUmmies have figured that one out. Which makes the Big Media libs the stupidest, most corrupt, and most obtuse libs of all.
