They did? When were the Republican Party politicians staunchly, more staunchly than now, more conservative? Best case for that would be the Gingrich revolution in '96. They were all hard-core conservatives? Ha.

As I said before it is more like the base deserts the Pubbies every couple of election cycles for not being conservative enough. ('02) What message does that send? "The people want us to be more liberal!" The dems get in and move the whole country to the left while mucking up the law and the courts.

We have a SC deciding that the U.S. recognizes things in treaties that the treaty itself flatly contradicts in no uncertain terms. How much more of that do you think this country can take and not be way too far out to ever come back to being a constitutional republic? Quite frankly I was saying that it could only be restored by taking it to the streets about ten years ago. But I'm not a quitter. As long as there's a semblance of sanity in this country I will work with the system as it is supposed to work.

I'm not defending trolls. I'm questioning the honor of this "zotting". It seems not only petty, but childish. The poster has been banned. What more do you want? What on Earth is the point of half a dozen cat pictures posted by people who weren't even in the thread beforehand? That cheapens what this site is SUPPOSED to represent.

If you don't like "Zotting" take it up with the Mods or Jim Rob himself.

The Viking Kitties, RKBA. are ping lists that exist at the whims of the mods. They can shut us down or the thread if they wish, not a noob (you). On this site we are in Jim Rob's house and he sets the rules, not you. We have to obey them. When a troll gets zotted, by a mod, we are given a little leeway to mock them.

If you don't like a Zot thread then don't read them.

If ZOT threads - even if they become ZOT threads after I've commented in them - are to be reserved for silly pictures, I will avoid them in the future.
