Bill Maher is a failed comic who pitched a TV show idea, which a cable network accepted. They hired writers to tell him everything he believes, and the DUmmies now think he's a genius.

He was once arguing with a pro-lifer about the partial birth ban on "Politically Incorrect." I think it was Falwell...anyway, the pro-lifer asked why the unborn has no right to life, much less a right to not be killed with a scissors in its brain, but the minute they're born on American soil they have all the rights and freedoms anyone could wish for.

Maher's answer? "Because they're unborn." He answered it the way you'd say "Because they're firemen" if somebody you really hated asked you why a bunch of guys in fire hats were getting off a fire truck and running into a burning house. Just dripping with derision and an "I'm sooooo smart" smug look on his face.

Yeah, I thought, what a genius. Click!

One of my favorites also. That and "Cat Fud." Of course, picking a favorite Gary Larson cartoon is like choosing which one of your kids you love the most...

What was the loud noise, though? Did the HUFFies get all huffy at you and set a depth charge in your PC?

No, I think that one was "Boy, Did I Get Wrong Number" with Hope and Phyllis Diller. :-)

About the only Politically INcorrect thing ever said on the show was when he and Dinesh D'Souza, I believe, agreed that the 9-11 terrorists weren't cowards; Bill followed up saying that WE were cowards for firing missiles remotely. Which of course led to his expulsion from ABC--liberal networks suddenly get all flag-waving when it comes to threats to their bottom line.

Politically Incorrect is, in fact, the place I would point someone who wanted to know what the PC line is at any given time. Just listen to the applause--when the liberal crowd cheers and claps, that's the PC stamp of approval.

Yeah, I remember that. However this is the first time that ever happened to me. Somehow the electrical spark climbed up my cable wire and made that snapping sound at the back of the modem. Fortunately, no damage but it did worry me there for a bit.

That's a great example. Maher is always doing that "BECAUSE< that's why!" thing and getting easy applause from the audience for it. I wonder if he's still the last man in America who does that "HELLOOOOO!" thing.

Maher is a liberal who claims he's a libertarian because that makes him "Politically Incorrect," yet he just coincidentally hates every single thing the Republicans stand for, and when he dumps on Democrats it's because they screwed up implementing something they and he want to happen.

Bill Maher is as PC as you can get. I mean, if he was Politically Incorrect, why do the liberals love him?

After surviving a nasty depth charging, Captain P.J. Comix (at periscope) brings USS Little Beaver to periscope depth to reacquire the enemy fleet. Good Hunting, Captian Comix! This newsreel has been a production of Movie-Tone News!

Also, I vote that the Huffington Post idiots be referred to as "Huffers."

BTW, that's the perfect Bill picture--he has that contemptuous look on his face, he's yapping, and being overly dramatic about whatever completely politically correct point he's trying to get people to think is shockingly non-PC.

My first thought was, "She'd probably be really hot if she sctaped that white and black crap off her face."

Thank you. It's one of my favorite examples of lib "reasoning."

I wonder if he's still the last man in America who does that "HELLOOOOO!" thing.

Other than a flamingly gay voiceover on some shampoo commercial. I can't remember the brand, but the tagline is "Get Hairapy." Every time the guy criticizes some woman's hair, he says "Helllooooo!" and then names the color code of the shampoo bottle that will solve her problem. He sounds like Paul Lynde with a bad attitude.

Love her hair, though.

And congrats on the newsbusters coup, BTW.

Thanx. It took me at least a half hour of searching to find just the right pic of Maher. Most of the rest of the photos online were carefully staged studio shots.

We're talking a smackdown of Judge Judy-esque proportions.

Au contraire my soon-to-be-outraged little DUmmy. We're talking a smackdown of Judge Riggs when an appeals court overturns her dangerous decision in favor of terrorism and allows the Commander in Chief's intel agencies to resume surveillance of our enemy's plans to murder millions of Americans.

Ahh yes, the old "pressure to resign" ploy. It didn't work on Rummy. But you dummies just go ahead and try it.
