Already cooled.
Ditto MM's #60.
Ooh! Now you've done it.
You wouldn't have any pics of yfisite or tadzhikite, would you?
Nope. Sorry.
Cool. The globules, right?
Darwinian man, though well-behaved, at best is only a monkey shaved.-- W. S. Gilbert
Jonathan Swift satirized what has now become "Darwinian man." The picture he painted wasn't pretty at all,and judging from the backwash of human degradation, delusion, paranoia, and the fantasies they've produced in America & western EU, I'd say Swift's satirization will prove all-too-true.
And I see that the slightly smarter, soulless ones managed (once again) to have yet another on-line journal redefined as a 'blog." Pretty soon their feelings will necessitate that Free Republic itself reclassify itself as a 'blog." Feelings are all important you know. Censorship is really just a tool wielded by those who don't want to know the truth.
David Horowitz had this to say about scientific materialism's theology and creation account: "The victorious radicals had proclaimed a theology of Reason in which equality of condition was the natural and true order of creation. In their Genesis, the loss of equality was the ultimate source of mankind's' suffering and evil The ownership of private property became a secular version of original sin. Redemption was possible only through the Revolution that would abolish property and open the gates to the Socialist Eden---to paradise regained." ("The Politics of Bad Faith" www.discoverthenetwork.com)
When I first read this, I was disappointed because I usually agree with most of what David Horowitz has to say. Then I realized he's just equating left wing secular fanatics with right wing religious fanatics. He's spot on.
Horowitz thinks creationism is a pseudoscience. See post 21 here.

He is being cited here, like Swift is, as an intellectual pretension. I was taught not to do this in high school. Some people's prose hasn't risen that high.
Thanks. I didn't read the thread before I posted.
Yes, but socialism has alot to do with Darwin. If you or any other FReepers would like me to scan you something that is apropos to this subject -- something that was on Lenin's desk and that he loved -- contact me by private post. By the way, there are many parallels between Marxism and organized religion but that doesn't gainsay the validity of a religious belief. But that's for another time.
"So now its America's turn to be sacrificed upon the altar of Promethean narcissism, for having learned nothing from his corpse-littered past, bloody-handed Prometheus continues to doggedly pursue his fantasy of a terrestrial paradisein the name of 'Absolute Science! Amen!"
Hmmmm. I LIKE it!! BUMP!
LOLOLOLOL!!
For a newbie, that post was precious. But, be fairly warned. These folks take to the evolutionary paradigm very, very seriously.
A lot is at stake for them you know.
Evolution works a lot more like Adam Smith's "invisible hand" than anything else. Socialism's central planning is totally unlike evolution. But it's a whole lot like ID.
Thanks for the ping YHAOS ... but my memory is hazy ... are you one of the good guys??
Well a quarter century ago a lot of firms had the it seemed like a good idea at the time of asking "is copying the 40 year old Beech 18 really the best way of building aircraft", and produced alternatives.
The Piaggio P.180 was the only one to survive - Natural Selection Rulz.
And while the Starship may have made it into the air a few month ahead of the Avanti, the transitional forms of the Piaggio runs back a half century
P136 Gull
1957 P166 Albatross
Straighten out the gull wind, give it a T-tail, foreplanes, sex up the aerodynamics, make it out of plastic, and fit turboprops and Avanti!
It's Evolution!
