Good Night, Folks. Don't forget to say your prayers.

Especially important tonight!

Hi, I'm here! I went to Mt. St. Helens today to check it out. It was spewing steam. Cool!

The landscape is coming back nicely. Except for the north slope, which is desolate, trees and bushes are springing up everywhere. Good to see.

I live in an area overdue for a 9+ earthqua

Yesterday I caught the last few minutes of a Discovery Channel show on the "mega earthquake" off the coast of Seattle. Nice. It was followed by one on the Yellowstone caldera, which I found myself glued to. Don't ask me why.

They're talking about asteroids currently.

I don't worry about asteroids. I prefer to have no warning, and I prefer to have it land on my head. No point in suffering.

Wow. Good idea, Sion.

I'm going to tell my technical manager (husband), and see if we could implement the idea.

Thanks.

That must have been one wild night!

But I thought you were still around single digits?

I know! ... You thought you could pass them off as "Katrina babies."

Boy! Naming them would be a challenge, Storm, Gail, Jim-Rob, Joe-Bob, Chickohimanme, ...

The projected path of the Hurricane misses the whole state of NC.

We did have a "blizzard baby." We moved while I was pregnant, and he was born about three weeks ahead of the crowd of blizzard babies in the new location.

I will caution that I don't have all the bugs worked out. We cannot upload (send) e-mail through it yet -- there is probably [it gets technical here] a port I have to open throgh the firewall that is closed by default, but I haven't yet run a sniffer on a direct dial-up connection to see which it is.

It's almost lunchtime here. That moaning you hear is the children having to do schoolwork. It's so UNFAIR!
