"Ahhhhhh...Bachhh!" *a la Radar o'Reilly*
Sure!
There is definately a connectedness going on here. Darkchylde says I forgot her dragons. She's picky about the type of dragons and fairies. And we can't watch Dragonheart. She cries.
LOL!
I have Dragonheart and I have to watch it every so often. I thought of collecting dragons, but there are so many of them and I have so little money to spend on them, that I just decided I'd stick with frogs.
Did you see that special on dragons that was on Animal Planet? I think I got to watch it when it came on Discovery, because Animal Planet doesn't come in very well. It was EXCELLENT! If I can find it, I'll but the DVD.
We saw it. For some reason Chylde wasn't thrilled with it. I liked Dragonheart better. LOL
*shurgs*
Well..
I dunno.
I sent out the images of the ScarletCardinal flower to those I had e-mail addies to.
Snippy from the Freeper Foxhole put the one image up on Fotki.
And.. I'd been babbling to Valerie about it as well.

Yah, but I couldn't figure out the feather? It doesn't look like a domestic bird feather, with those curls...
And I've never seen that flower, not even in books...:o|
Awww...what a sweet, loving photo! Those kids are adorable! And you are such a lucky gramma!
XO to each of them!
Guess I haven't learned how to downsize a photo yet.
That's funny.
I talked to my DH about that a while ago.
I asked him if he would make that post for me.
(Remember, he only lurks.)
:-)
Give your phone # to a FReeper you trust.
That way we don't have to worry. :-)
"I'm baffled: So... what now, eh?"
Hey, you are speaking Canadian, eh?
Now I know you'll be OK. ;-)
Supposedly the flower is rare, and is a "Scarlet Cardinal Flower".
I've only seen them in two places.
The feather.. not sure where it came from either.
For all I know it belongs to a pheasant as an under tail thing, or quail.
I'd have to see the bird who lost it myself.
Hi (Darksheare's Mom) DJ MacWoW.
I think that is so wonderful.
I'd love to freep with my kids one day.
Cool.
Mom found FR first if memory serves correctly.
Then she told me about it.
And then I eventually conned my sis into joining.
Hahaha!
"And I don't need anything. Except this lamp...."
LOL
I had never seen the flower either, but the feather is not from a pheasant, and I doubt that it is from a quail, as both fowl have straight long feathers, or straight short ones. The only "curly" thing on a quail is the little "topknot" so I am still baffled by the feather. Hmmmm...
It is cool to discuss events and articles. And if I miss something, they pass it on and vice versa. We have some interesting discussions.

My sister found it first, and told me about it, but she didn't REALLY want me to post, I think. At least, not on the same threads as she was on...*snort*

LOL!
Great minds, eh?
