I'm starting to believe that no factor is more important than dietary health.
Unfortunately, there is much disagreement about what a healthy diet is. I therefore concentrate on nutritional and herbal supplements to keep my system healthy.
Vitamins C and E are almost a necessity, but I also use those herbal supplements which are said to be good for the heart and circulation, garlic and cayenne pepper, (both taken in pill form).
Each of us has a body which is an experiment in longevity and geriatric treatments. Good luck with yours!
Here's something else for a worst case scenario; try to get things done. Finish up those long-forgotten projects that have been taking forever, (because you don't have it), or just get rid of them. Arrange for your absence -- insurance, remember?
Then, if that is taken care of, enjoy life right up to the hilt! Be ready to go, when the trumpet sounds, with a smile and a joyous heart.

Good Morning!
It's a beautiful day here. I have laundry to do, but I hate to spoil my moments of indolence.

I hear you. I've a concrete walkway that needs to be broken up and removed. But just don't really want to do it today... besides, it's feeling like it's going to be a hot one today...

Winston and I have to pack today for our little road trip tomorrow. And I have to finish cleaning the apartment.

Thanks. Still up in the computer room -- can't type so well on the laptop in bed. :-) But ugh... I can feel the heat coming in from outside already.

"I've a concrete walkway that needs to be broken up and removed." Two words -- "Tom Sawyer"
Okay, more than two words. Put a large sign out by the curb. "Test your strength ... 25 cents! Prizes given! Authentic 2005 Berlin Wall Certificates!"
Then set up a lemonade stand in the shade. If all else fails, drink the lemonade.

Put a large sign out by the curb. LOL. First, install a curb.
We live on a cul-de-sac in a rather rural and hard-to-find place. Most of the cars we see are... simply lost.

Sorry... we have an excess of same. Lost power a few days ago because one found its way into a substation transformer.
Interestingly, we've had grays for a long time. But recently (last year?) I've started seeing smaller, black squirrels around.

It's a reference to the recent movie, "Rat Race" with John Cleese.
In the movie, a lady gets a lot of "lost" people. She tries to supplement her income by selling squirrels.
She also gives directions, but if you don't buy a squirrel, you don't get good directions!
