I wish I could be there. I'd bring a wrecking ball.

Visible loud protests are useless.
We've got to start with our legislators. The other most important thing is to make sure truly impartial and knowledgeable judges are appointed and confirmed.

They are not useless. the majority of americans have no clue about even the term 'emminant domain" let alone its implications. Demonstrations would be educational and at this point very very helpful.
Having said that, why would anyone care? I mean Americans have to be consumed with the latest celebrity romances, they certainly don't have time for anything like this.ha.

We need a no-wiggle room - clearly worded- AMENDMENT to the constitution to stop this socialist ruling. Now call me crazy but I thought it was already pretty clear in the 5th Amendment but I guess the 5 Supremes need even more legislation.
Who can get an amendment started? Senators?

"the majority of americans have no clue about even the term 'emminant domain" let alone its implications."
Average Joe Americans saw "Supreme Court rules government can seize homes" on CNN. That was about all they needed to see, and it's essentially correct. Do they understand the exact legal terms and nuances? No. Do they need to understand all of them to protest effectively? No. Poll 100 right-to-lifers about the exact legal standards applied to abortions and I doubt half understand half. Why? Because laws are written by lawyers who intentionally obfuscate the language to make the whole thing more difficult to understand for the average person.

He doesn't have to so long as Mohammed and Napoleon are next to him.
Which they are in that picture.

Good luck and stay safe. My magic eightball says the DC police(and/or Secret Service) stomp this protest flat using less than gentle tactics.

You a developer trying to depress turnout or something?

They are not useless if people do it. The problem is that you advertise a protest, and 35 people show up... That ain't gonna do anything, except tell the Supremes that they got away with another one.
Now if there were half a million, then that might make a difference.
