trademarked? politicize my plight is trademarked. (From your original post).
I have to investigate that.
In IE 5.5 you can do this in tools/inernet options/security/custom level/
You don't need a separate pop up blocker.
This is the way I run IE for everything except extremely trusted sites and I have no popups trogans, etc. at all. If I have to do online banking, PayPal, eBay eTrade, etc I turn java and scripting back on.
I also like to leave only "per session" cookies turned on, and leave stored cookies turned off. However stored cookies have to be turned on for many secure sites and of course for FR.
You can set these options in newer versions of IE but they are labled differently. You really can't mess anything up by playing with these settings - you can always go back to a default security level.
The whole country owes electronic voting activists a huge debt of gratitude for the consciousness-raising and rabblerousing they've done on the issue of our private, for-profit, unregulated voting system. Andy Stephenson, electronic voting activist par excellence, is seriously ill with pancreatic cancer. He's facing hugely expensive treatment, with no health insurance. Thanks to William Rivers Pitt (scroll down), fellow Air American Mike Malloy, Thom Hartmann and others for bringing attention to Andy's crisis. You can donate by Paypal to Andy_Stephenson@comcast.net or at Amazon here -- even a couple of bucks would help. Solidarity, hey? And while we're at it, how about a damn plan to cover the uninsured in this country? Rachel

80. You didn't cause this
bettyellen didn't cause this. I caused it. I am still working on finding out everything I need to know and will make sure to share it tomorrow when I am done. There will be an apology in there, but there will also be several good reasons for why I said what I said and asked what I asked.
But you taking any blame for this is wacky.

you are probably right. no way Andy doesn't think he can't schmooze his way out of this.
Krodg;
Wasn't it you that also called the bank about the checks veracity? What did you find out? I must have missed it.
They are dastardly. They are still lying to those poor dupes.
Special circle in hell opening up. Thanks for posting this to me. Will print it off.
I'm sure that when his tax returns are due next year, Andy will gladly pay his fair share.... [ STRAIGHT FACE CRACKS ] BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Back in the last thread I wrote on 185 that the reports I have seen are consistent with pancreatic cancer - seems they are stealing my material.
It is consistent - it doesn't say otherwise - what is factual was that the report indicated a tumor of some type - whether it was benign or malignant cannot be ascertained from the report he provided. not a professional opinion - so don't ask.
But that is interesting that the doctors wanted him to begin chemotherapy if true and he abstained.
Yes.
If "NFL" meand "National Football League" then add me to your ping list!
He has had some major free advertising to line his pockets - everywhere.
He'll be writing a book soon.
Sorry, "bettyellen," that ain't gonna cut it. Andy said his biopsy was done way back in February or March. Andy LIHOP/MIHOP that the word went out, "Andy needs life-saving pancreatic cancer surgery"--including that very claim from his own fundraising manager, Beth Ferrari ("sfexpat2000"), as her "911" e-mail proves--and he never corrected that claim, even though he had many opportunities to do so.
Thanks for IDing Pitt.
I disagree with your assumption that Andy is still bouncing around Baltimore.
He was never in Baltimore. He never showed up at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
See my post #683 on this thread.
someone here should write a book.
Well, it seems to me, the problem is, when we speculate about Andy, we speculate he is going to conduct himself in the ways we ourselves would conduct ourselves, if in the same situation.
I'm sure most of us, yeah, would be getting an attorney.
But that's what WE would do.
In the mind of Andy, what he WANTS is the right and moral and commonsensical thing, and if he is aware of some sort of, uh, disturbance caused by his "wants," he is genuinely and sincerely confused--why all this ruckus?
But that's the thing. Andy did claim that a biopsy was done--way back in February or March (don't have the exact date in front of me). And he still LIHOP/MIHOP.
