At one time there was a post on DU that someone was in charge of handling the funds for the fundraiser. I think later it became this Beth F. person, but originally it was someone else...

Anyone have a name or a link. It is important.

Interesting theory that the $825 could be to remove the gall bladder. I have no idea how much it costs. I just looked a little on the internet and it appears to be a little over $1000 to $15000. Does anyone have a better estimate of the cost?

Actually I'm starting to think that the felonious Andy is becoming one of the best-known faces in America, given the repetition of that most excellent screen-capture of Andy on television--a screen-capture, incidentially, taken off of DUmmieland itself.

I don't know about anybody else, but even the cats in this house, well, their faces "look like" Andy now.

I do remember that some DUmmy said that the May 10th surgery date was originally set for June 2nd but that at the end of April some doctor at JH looked at his records and said the date had to be moved up because DUmmy Andy was in such bad shape. Of course, we know that couldn't be true because here it is May 20th and Andy is still with us. Couldn't have been that serious since the doctors were willing to wait over two weeks from the May 10th date to reschedule to May 26th.

I am pretty certain it was someone else in the very beginning. I have been searching but I can't seem to find the original posts on on fundraising from earlier this year and late last year.

I probably glossed right over them.

Oh, I'm sorry.

I thought you meant the current scam, which began mid-afternoon on April 28, and which Purrcival was the first to see.

Everybody give a hand to Purrcival, who saw this coming down the tracks long before anyone else did (she gave me the information within minutes, but I discounted it as "not important"--I am obviously no judge of newsworthiness--and did not publicly announce it until.....six hours later).

Everybody give a real big hand to Purrcival.

If you read the old Bev postings on the DU, David Allen was always on them and extremely critical. He would jump on anyone who defended her and stated that she stole his work. He was a big supporter of Andy when he was fired. I noticed he was on one of the Send Andy money funds and I wasn't real surprised. I think he was the one who implied Bev was behind the accusations that Andy was scamming everyone. That sounded consistent with his previous comments from what I've noticed.

I saw it was completely spelled out. As a matter of fact, it might be the original Beverly information that came up. I am losing it -ugh. In that corresponse before she posted here there might have been information on his significant other.

I know there was a first and last name to his significant other. It was either from Will, Skinner, or Beverly.

Does anyone remember that original refute of the Andy situation. Was it here or over at CU.

And if Will Pitt posted them back when, then he was clearly familiar with them. This is important because if those records had indicated cancer, he wouldn't have posted his blasting message over at DU saying Undie didn't have cancer.
