This may have been answered further down in the thread--I'm way behind--but wasn't "politicize my plight!" among his last words in a posting in DUmmieland, where he also said, "remember.....voter verified paper ballots"?

This was a DUmmieland post, and I recall he said those things--this was not a later rephrasing by someone else.

Like, the night before he was supposed to go into the hospital (and of course remember it was "cancelled" the next morning). Some DUmmie thread Sunday night, or Monday night, before his surgery (or the pre-operative examination).

I found I could find some websites that we didn't previously know of before by doing a search for different iterations of the "pleas for money". Basically, I just did a search for the zip code (I was trying to get info to pinpoint where the PO box was located, had no luck with that, but found some othere websites that the fundraiser was listed on).

If you try that, you can probably find a lot more (I didn't have much time)-- I think that was a great idea to have all the links listed somewhere (your homepage works great) where everyone can easily locate them.
