Excellent job feefee!
I've captured it, but something's up with photobucket right now so I can't submit it in order to post it here.
Many ethnic/religious groups in this country started hospitals in the 1800s and early 1900s. Most Swedish immigrants were Lutherans (like my grandparents). One non-Lutheran Swedish group was the Evangelical Covenant group, headquartered on the north side of the city of Chicago. And so for example I, although a Swedish Lutheran, was born at Swedish Covenant Hospital on the north side of Chicago. As to the Swedish hospital in Seattle, I don't know the historical background of that one.
The big Swedish settlements were in Chicago/northern Illinois and Minneapolis/Minnesota. But there is also large number of Scandinavians (moreso Norwegians) in the state of Washington.
Me, too. I couldn't find it anywhere on Google or Dogpile...
It makes you wonder if Andy hadn't been WAITING for a thread like this to come along, squatting quietly until his mindless minions arrived at exactly the conclusion he wanted.
I'm not saying he faked an illness. But he definitely allowed his illness to get blown all out of proportion and widely publicized throught Leftdom.
I can picture it now:
"I had a deadly cancer ravaging my body, and I was one of the 43 million Americans without health insurance. I am alive today only because people raised money for me on the internet. That's wrong. People shouldn't have to pay for their health care by fundraising--we need universal, government funded health care for everyone. I'm Andy Stephenson, and I'm running for Congress. Send me to Washington D.C., and I will fight for your free health care."
Calling Baltimore media!!!
WOO! HOO! GREAT FIND!!!
He's still the fattest cancer patient I've ever seen.
How did you find it?
Yes, if that turns out to be the case, that is an excellent way to put it!
Send all congrats to feefee, who did a masterful job locating it.
I think in a few days, we're gonna be asking where both of them are.
Huh? You mean there are actually at least TWO Swedish hospitals in the country? Hmmm.... Wonder if their cafeterias serve Swedish meatballs? BTW, anybody in the W. Palm Beach area. Check out the cafeteria at the Veteran's Hospital off Blue Heron. Great chow! Great prices! And they have one of the few gift shops where the prices are actually LOWER than normal.
I know a lot of people sent money, but I can't believe it is just one or two central players.
With all the pleas on the 100+ websites, this could be a group of 4-5 people perpetrating a a get rich scam.
I think it is a small group, but ones with different areas of expertise. Such as JH connection.
A closer look shows the money solicitors are only a few hardcore Andy buddies. They are the ones trying to maintain credibility that Andy is dying.
Then there has to be at least another monitoring the money going into the account, however many there are.
I would say there are many accounts opened at different banks, all with the maximum amounts in them, as not to alert red flags at the bank.
Remember how the Press tried accuse Rush of money laundering, as all the amounts transferred back and forth were under $10,000? This is to keep the IRS at bay.
Note I am only speculating here, but I also think this thing is "Hugh" and "Series"
Thanks, took awhile sorting through the previous DUFU Undie editions to find it, but I remembered reading that thread at some point during this saga.
Probably won't happen (but then who thought Lautenburg would take over the Torch's seat? Who thought Washington state would fraudulently "elect" a Democrat through vote fraud, when voter fraud was the number-one topic? Don't put anything past the Dems).
But can't you picture Andy thinking/dreaming about this?
He probably has a Congressman Frank shrine in Termite's apartment!
I'm betting on four or less. Andy and Termite are obvious (Termite is in this up to his insect eyeballs... he's known the diagnosis from the first tests) but there are probably two more people who are shillin and sharin.
