Of course not. Not deaths or illnesses or undeserved pain. But, I do think it is kind of funny that they may have been scammed out of money, by one of their own, again, or that someone may go to jail for scamming. I just do.

If it does turn out that he actually spoke confidentially to a freeper about all this, and that will likely never happen, that would be an offense worse than Bev to the DU politburo.

I spent part of the afternoon--while waiting for speed_addiction to get done taking care of customers--looking for a couple of trolls on this thread.

I didn't find any.

If Andy did make that phone call, which at least someone did call S_A, I think he called a FReeper, most importantly, S_A rather than his "allies", Skinner and Pitt, is because his "allies" are keeping their mouths shut. No word from Pitt today and Skinner is banning all communication. This is speculation, but maybe Andy wanted to do damage control with the person who claimed someone was going to the authorities. Maybe he thought it would get us off his back. Remember, DUmmies accept a phone call as a fact of law. Maybe Andy thinks FReepers will too.

As I have said on these threads before, I do believe that Andy has something wrong. I don't believe, and I hope for his sake, it isn't cancer. I believe that Andy was taking advantage of people with his fund raising before the medical stuff started. I think that he told his friends about the possibility of cancer and the donations to the fundraising he had already set up started pouring in, he took advantage of a situation. I believe firmly that he has raised at least 6 figures as I have stated before. He is taking advantage of other people by misleading them and he should be held liable for that. I have stated these opinions before (perhaps not quite so nicely for Andy) and I hold to them in light of possible development.

I feel that calling us is logical if you believe Andy panicked last night over what happened on DU and the possibility of jail mentioned here. Phone calls have been satisfying the DUmmies and he hoped it would satisfy us. I think he might have wanted to see if S_A would give up his source during the conversation or if he could get S_A to trust him (as if S_A would ever do that). If I were Andy right now, I would want to talk to the person who had info about me going to jail. It makes sense to me.
