I don't know what your mother's dosage level is but I looked up the price list of an online Mexican farmacia and you can get 30 10 mg tabs of Zocor for $39.95. You can find it
HERE . I think you can get it even cheaper at the walk up farmacias where you pay cash in person.

I suppose the bottom line is, did you ask him when he first knew that he did not have pancreatic cancer? Did you ask him why he never cleared this up himself when he first discovered it?

Update for those who helped me.

In regards to my graduation from college here in NC. The issue was that they didn't want to let me graduate wearing a pant suit. They wanted to make me wear a dress. I was upset and came to DU. Well, whoever says that democrats/progressives/liberals can't get together and come up with a plan that works is wrong. Thanks to many many nice responses and advice from Duers, I graduated this past Sunday wearing a pant suit and held my head high. Of course, they had Robin Hayes (a particularly icky repug) as the keynote speaker at the thing, but I just sat there and yawned along with the rest in my row until he finally shut up and they let us march and get our diplomas. Also, I'd like to thank the ACLU of NC for sending the school a letter making them rethink the hard line approach they were trying to take with me on the issue. Many women wore pant suits and the applause when they announced that we could wear the pants suits to graduation at the rehearsal was a particularly happy, thunderous applause. Thanks to the intelligent kind people of DU and the ACLU of NC, I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a diploma in Electrical/Electronics Technology in a pant suit and was as happy as can be to finally win one here in a red state.
To all the wonderful kind folks of DU and the ACLU and lots of love.

Well it looks like Pied Piper Pitt is NOT going to issue an apology today like he promised. Also we have a Judge Crater conversation but I don't think that amounts to much. I'll let this thread ride until at least tomorrow so post all Scamdy updates here. Bottom line: I am virtually certain Scamdy does NOT have pancreatic cancer. I am also virtually certain that he is running a scam. Yeah, he might be ill but NOTHING major.
Gotta go for now since Petra Verkaik is giving me a call.

Did you ask him which stocks would be winners in the 3rd Quarter?
Did you ask him when the price of gas would level off and decline?
Did you ask him if he would go long or short on bonds right now? How about pork bellies?
Did you ask him if the Herschel-Bulkley model was inherently superior to the Power Law, or is Powell-Eyring better?
Does he feed the puppy the expensive stuff or the the cheap stuff?
Des he sleep in the nude, or wear pajamas?
Boxers or briefs?
Paper or plastic?
Are you REALLY, REALLY sure it was him and not Termite?
(Sorry, must have blown a mind fuse for a moment, but I'm back now)

I don't think Will Pitt CAN post anything. Skinner shut down all Undie-related posts and told people not to post anymore about it.
The question is: Will he post it on his blog?

Despite the information posted here allegedly from Andy himself (I only say that because we've been speculating about all of this and almost every thing carries and "allegedly") I still don't get it.
Skinner didn't give Andy a ringing endorsement, and he could have, if he wanted to. Of all the people that Andy should be talking to it's Skinner. Skinner's precious DU has a big old giant black cloud hanging over it, still. But if Andy spoke to Skin's, he didn't convince him well enough to put it all to rest.
And the usually excruciatingly verbose Mr. Pitt is still MIA about this. So if one of Andy's "friends" hasn't been convinced yet, why should I?
Despite whether who said what to whom on the phone, still no mea culpa from Andy&Friends. Still no convincing story to put it all to rest. No Andy posting at DU to explain it all (he has no qualms about posting everything else including details of his "private" medical records and appeals for cash). No attempts to quash this controversy about the fund-raising by posting some financial info, account statements, etc.
No this little drama is far from over. Key questions remain unanswered. And not one of the key players has made a convincing effort to resolve this.
I've always hoped that Andy didn't have cancer. I don't wish harm upon even the worst of my political enemies (except for Osama and his crew). I wish him the best of health, and perhaps when he's healthier he'll have no problem explaining it to Mr. Skinner and Mr. Pitt to their satisfaction.
P.S. So why do I even care? Why I'm just helping Andy&Friends to "Politicize His Plight!".

One way or another we'll learn just about everything on or before May 26, the day Andy is scheduled to have his "pancreatic cancer surgery."
To: PJ-Comix
BTW, I take 20mg Zocor per day, I get the 40mg dose, and cut it half. Cheaper that way usually.

You care because this thing is a fraud, and fraud, even when perpetrated upon DUmmies, weakens us all.
I am no libertarian; I believe there should be laws that protect infants, imbeciles, incapables, and DUmmies from damaging themselves.
The felonious Andy is such a loser he makes DUmmies look like winners.....and we all know how far-fetched that is.
To: PJ-Comix
By the way, the past few days in DUmmieland, the cracked DUmmie "MoPaul" has been on a real rampage, ranting and raving about everything and anything; lots and lots of threads.
This is a guy who needs a strait-jacket.

Awwwwwwww. What a touching, heart wrenching tale about little Jamastiene's inability to think of anyone but herself. Hillary! would be so proud (it was a pantsuit after all).

I knew about the clinicas, I just don't know anybody that lives in a Bordertown.
Up here in Minne-so-cold (where I'm still trying to sell my house; anyone can FReepmail me if they want a good deal) the senior citizens organize bus trips over the Canadian border to stock up on meds.
I figured it would be even cheaper over the Mexican border.
I just remember going to the farmacía in Buenos Aires. I had a lingering bronchitis that wouldn't go away. I walked in, asked for the highest dosage of penicillin they had, no prescription needed, no questions asked. The pills could've choked a horse, but in four days I was cured.
