Holy cannoli! You'd think that, if he's been married 3 times, he's been on enough dates that he shouldn't be so damn nervous.

----She's drop-dead gorgeous and can get anyone she wants, including rich guys.----

----[Including a certain Freeper with a probable lucrative book contract that hasn’t been scheduled yet?]----

BWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! If ol' Steve wasn't enough to send this lady trolling for Freeper dates, nothing will be. :)

and she's been married 3 times, as I have. I'm sure she's had 1000's of men interested and hundreds of dates

I thought I would avoid comment about this embarrassing thread but this is unbelievable. He's been married three times but wants a meaninful and lasting relationship with a woman who has also been married three times, is georgeous, and who has dated hundreds of men? Is this guy Woody Allen?

Got the 2nd date.

WHOO HOO! YOU DA MAN, STEVIE BOY! STE-VIE, STE-VIE. . . .

It hasn't been scheduled yet,

Oh.

ste-vie, stevie. . . .

but probably next weekend due to kids and work schedules.

You might want to check that her hair is well washed well in advance.

----They've BOTH been married three times, huh?----

Maybe each time was to each other.... this could be some sort of pathological "Pina Colada Song" situation.

"Ok, at the risk of becoming freeper-fodder again, here goes. Got the 2nd date. It hasn't been scheduled yet, but probably next weekend due to kids and work schedules. So far, so good."

I BELIEVE Steve might just maybe, hopefully almost for sure get a second date with mamma cold sore.

Women LIKE quiet and shy

Yeah, shy and quiet guys like to tell themselves that as they watch the more assertive, alpha males ride away with the objects of their desire on the back of their motorcycles.

OK now is the time to become concerned about that cold sore.

Is this guy Woody Allen?

I picture steve2470 as looking like a cross between Woody Allen and Li'l Kim of North Korea.

I'll tell you one thing. IF (and that is a huge IF) DUmmie steveR2D2 gets a second date with her and doesn't make a move on this desperate woman, he's toast. She'll know for sure he's gay.

Never mind. He's known her for 15 years already. I forgot about that. He's toast. Maybe gay.

I loved his line about becoming freeper fodder though. At least he has a splinter of rational thought left.

Stay tuned people. I have a feeling DUmmie Steve is fixing to come out of the closet!

Steve, let's offer her a ride? Ask her if she would rather ride on yours:

Or mine:

The problem now: feeling intimidated and insecure. Why?

Every woman's dream...a man who is concerned about these things.

So why in the hell should she want to spend time with me...

We are all wondering about that, in the Days of Our DU Lives.

The problem now: feeling intimidated and insecure.

Just remember this, steve: No "intimidate," no "intimate date."

Why?

Could it have anything to do with the prospect of asking your date to take public transportation with you back to your mom's basement?

So why in the hell should she want to spend time with me, who is non-rich, non-macho, a bit on the quiet and shy side ?

Beats me. Is she stupid?

me, who is non-rich, non-macho, a bit on the quiet and shy side

"non-rich" = lost the part-time job at the comic book store

"non-macho" = 35% body fat

"a bit on the quiet and shy side" = holed up in Mom's basement
