My, my, but you are wading in the fever swamps of someone's paranoia today. Well, I suppose someone has to answer and refute these screwy conspiracy theories. Good luck and chronia polla!

Everything you say is true. Nonetheless, he told the truth in his book, Red Horizons. If you think he is a liar, point out a misstatement of fact.
Furthermore, Red Horizons is a devastating indictment of the Communist system, from the first page to the last. By the way, the book was published by Regnery Gateway (1987). Heard of them? Are they conservative enough for you? Do you think they are fools?
In addition, the interview I cited was on Front Page. Oops, you got me there. That's run by David Horowitz, a former American Communist who admittedly lied and misled the American public for decades in an attempt to undermine out system. He worked with murderous Leftist organizations like the Black Panthers. So, by your reasoning, his information isn't valid either.
By the way, what sources do you use to find out about Communism?

Seems as though this object resides on too many web sites. lol

I don't support or tolerate communism, that said, I am suspect of these born again defectors who get out right when the pile of cards is coming down around them. Their number one goal is to make themselves "useful" to keep from being prosecuted, just like Golitsyn didn't start his BS until the CIA was done with him and his value was dropping and even then he went to MI5&6 to get "street" cred.

Yeah, the murky water keeps getting deeper and my wading stick is disappearing, so I think I'll be heading back now.

This is superb stuff! I haven't had time to finish it yet, but I will read it all carefully. When I posted a quote by Ion Pacepa, former head of the Romanian KGB who defected to America (Red Horizons, 1978), the hordes of critical posters said Pacepa was just like Golitsyn, meaning someone they discredited because he wan an "unpunished" former KGB agent.
I had never heard of Golitsyn, and assumed he was one of these fake defector types. But now I see they are quire correct, Pacepa is just like Golitsyn, both are great! (add Viktor Suvorov, Inside the Aquarium and other books.)
Of course, saying that defectors from enemy intelligence should be punished is a classic stance of people trying to aid our enemies, to prevent such valuable defections from occurring! (To be fair to the posters, the position is also held by many naive people who do not realize that such a position benefits the cause of America's enemies.)
Thanks much. Will be posting more of a response in the near future.
