Yeah, if you are critical of Bush your intentions are examined. If not, you can feel free to promote your blog or site all day.

You left off the last part:

"...and I'll blow your house down!"

Wrong. I'm ripping into a blogger on another thread where the subject has nothing to do with Bush. The blog self-promotion on FR is getting out of hand. And IMO we need to hold them to a high standard, the same standard to which we would hold the MSM or any other media source.

You *might* be. All others are cheered on. I've been on this site long enough to see this played out.

What christians seem to oft forget is that this world is not their own. They influence it, but they do not control it. It is primarily only in this nation where Christinanity has patterned itself societally in the modern era and that is changing in spades in many ways.

This world of sin will never be overcome. When it comes down to brass tacks, there is something more that that government could be doing to halt every sin, yet does not.

I am.

When it comes to blogs, there are plenty of posters who demand they adhere to certain standards of veracity. Of course, there are also some folks who will lap up any blog that fits their worldview - but that applies to all sides of the debate, not just those who support Bush.

The only problem with making abortion illegal is that law would put the back alley abortionists back into business

"I still am not doing everything possible that I can."

So, your whole point is that the President is no better than you are?

"I still am not doing everything possible that I can do."

By the way...why the hell aren't you?

Isn't it sufficiently important to you?

Good post. Even FR has become largely pro-abortion apparently. What a shame.

Hearts and minds must be changed first... and that is best done with dialogue, not beating up those with differing views. Education is important. I think Bush knows that he must keep his audience in mind whenever he speaks. And he has done a good job speaking about the sanctity of life and the importance of the Almighty. A refreshing change since Clinton.

"The President has the power of enforcement and isn't Constitutionally, legally, or ethically required to blindly enforce blatantly unconstitutional opinions."

Are you saying the president has power of nullification but the states don't? Interesting.

Yawn all evening, but tell me where I'm wrong.

Too tired to argue so I will just have to offer my apology for voting for the Pro-Abortion Bush.

Had you posted this prior to 11/2 I would have voted for Kerry despite his lame goose hunting masquerade......

Timing is everything my friend.....

I want a Constitutional ban.

You will not get a constitutional ban. It wouldn't even make it out of the Senate, much less get 38 state legislatures to ratify it.

The best that we can hope and pray for is the overturning of Roe V. Wade. I personally think that even that is becoming less and less likely, as decisions tend to become enshrined due to stare decisis.
