Arledge Hot pepper
http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/83973/index.html
They haven't offered it in years. Its name comes from (I think) Dave Arledge, who used to drive truck for them or something. Source was Louisiana (if memory serves). It's moderately hot (meaning, it'll take your head off, but be really nice about it).

Golden Pearl can be seen on this platter (just barely); tough to say which one of the two golden bunches, probably the one on the left.

We got the same thing here in Washington State on the West side of the Cascades. When we had the foundation dug for our house, the guy got off his bull dozer and said "don't ever ask me to come out here and dig again".
It was a joke among neighbors that if you wanted to plant bulbs, a shrub or anything you better get a stick of dynamite. We have boulders the size of cars!

another one from Armenia:
"Metki Painted Serpent
"Unique, very long, dark green with pale green striped fruit, very rare from Armenia. Grown in Armenia as a cucumber, it is actually a melon. Excellent sweet flavor."

same source:
M"ortgage Lifter
"An extraordinary tomato with an extraordinary story. Developed by M.C. Byles of Logan, West Virginia over a six year period in the 1940's. He sold the plants for $1 each and paid off the $6,000 mortgage on his house. The fruits are approximately 1 lb. each, pinkish in color with a rich, sweet taste."

Tomato Climbing Trip-L-Crop(85 days). Our only climbing type produces enormous yields. Vine grows 10 to 15 ft. tall and should be supported on a trellis. Each vine produces as many as 2 to 3 bushels of tomatoes. Fruits are rich red, meaty and large. Fine beefsteak flavor. Excellent for canning. Indeterminate.
