Dimwit Claims Republicans Caused Senator’s Illness

Joy Behar, one of the regulars on "The View"—a television show in which clueless women offer ill-informed opinions on a variety of topics—accused "Republican operatives" of causing a Democratic senator's brain disorder that has left him in critical condition. "Howard Dean was right, these Republicans ARE evil," Behar said. "I know what this, that party is capable of. To give someone a stroke just so the Republicans can retake control of the senate is monstrous."

Doctors said that Senator Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) who suffered an apparent stroke during an interview, has a congenital condition known as AVM, or arteriovenous malformation, that causes arteries and veins to grow abnormally large, become tangled and sometimes burst.

Apprised that Senator Johnson’s condition was congenital in origin, Behar became even more alarmed. "You mean those bastards messed with his genitals, too?" Behar exclaimed. "It’s bad enough to screw with his mind, but this is even worse. How low can they go?"

Ms. Behar has teamed up with illustrator Gene Barretta to write her first children's book: "Sheetzucacapoopoo: My Kind of Dog" to be released in September, 2006. Ms. Behar's first book, "Joy Shtick: or What Is the Existential Vacuum and Does It Come with Attachments?," was published by Hyperion.

Quite an intellectual comedienne, obviously...

:') Barbara Walters plucked her from relative obscurity, as she did the other four nimrods who originally "graced" the show. For example, Lisa Ling left to do hard-hitting documentaries one what it is to be a woman in "Palestine", declared she would not become some kind of gratifier for non-Asian men, then broke up with her Asian boyfriend to date a nice Jewish boy. :'D Star Jones used to be the pantload on the show, but that changed when she, uh, left it. Meredith Viera once referred to Baba's dog as a little b*tch, and BW said, "I beg your pardon?" MV went to, hmm, the Today Show, replacing the perky cup of decaf Katy Couric, soon to be ex- of the CBS Evening News, where she succeeded Dan "RatherGate" Rather as the permanent anchor.

The View," recipient of the 2003 Daytime Emmy® Award for "Outstanding Talk Show," is the original forum where real women discuss relevant, everyday issues and share their daily, no-holds-barred opinions and lively, colorful conversations. The program premiered in August 1997, and is broadcast live from New York City. In addition "The View" has received 20 Daytime Emmy Awards and has nine consecutive nominations for Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host for Ms. Behar and her co-hosts. "The View" celebrated its 2000th Show on February 2, 2006.

Pelosi Defends Murtha Vs. GOP Reprimand
BREITBART

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1836710/posts

“Murtha is a 35-year House veteran who leads the House Appropriations subcommittee on military spending. He is known for a fondness for earmarks—carefully targeted spending items placed in appropriations bills to benefit a specific lawmaker or favored constituent group. During a series of House votes Thursday, Murtha walked to the GOP side to confront Rogers, a former FBI agent. This month, Rogers had tried unsuccessfully to strike from an intelligence spending bill an item that would restore $23 million for the National Drug Intelligence Center, a facility in Murtha’s Pennsylvania district. According to Rogers’ account, which Murtha did not dispute, the Democrat angrily told Rogers he should never seek earmarks of his own because “you’re not going to get any, now or forever.” “This was clearly designed to try to intimidate me,” Rogers told The Associated Press on Friday. “He said it loud enough for other people to hear.” House rules prohibit lawmakers from placing conditions on earmarks or targeted tax benefits that are based on another member’s votes.

Henceforth, students at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., can’t graduate until they have watched “An Inconvenient Truth,” Al Gore’s truth-challenged, junk-science documentary on global warming. Unabashedly toeing the warmist line, assistant dean Jeffrey Hughes said the film is a good vehicle for teaching students about “scientific principles.” Apparently, he hasn’t been reading the bible of left-wing lunacy, The New York Times, which in March reported many scientists believe “some of Mr. Gore’s central points are exaggerated and erroneous.”
