I had said this on the night of the debate. And so did others. He had the questions before and and had the answers ready at the time. Actually the Communist website TruthOut was so pissed that I said that that they posted my comment. Nasty creatures that they are. Can't stand the truth.

Didn't Bush have an 8 x 11 piece of paper? I thought I saw him actually pick it up at one point!

A pencil/pen and paper were allowed, after review by the "authorities" that were running the debate. But Bush didn't pull any note cards out of his jacket as he approached the podium. Kerry apparently did. I'd love to see a high-resolution image of this.

What would be interesting is what's on those note cards. I'll bet that the questions were known, and Kerry's answers were outlined on the cards. It explains the "wink" from Lehrer that some saw.

Why am I not surprised, that Kerry Cheats and more than that does not abide by the rules.

The debate rules stated that candidates could submit blank paper and writing instruments to the commission prior to the debate.  The commission would then review the items and place them on the podium.

Kerry is pulling notes out of his pocket....a clear violation of the rules he agreed to.

I believe they were allowed to have blank paper and writing instruments but the blank paper was supposed to be already at the podium.

The Swifties need to use a tape of this in an ad.

There was a strong hint on another thread that Lehrer fed Kerry the questions ahead of time. Of course he'd be able to answer them smoothly.

He didn't have it in is breast pocket. According to the rules, he could have BLANK paper placed for him at the podium but could not be the "courier." Needless to say, if they were pre-written notes then that is a clear violation.

I was thinking that they were allowed to write notes during the debate; both of them could clearly be seen doing it. But I wasn't too sure if there was a paper and pencil already on the podiums, ready for use.

Is any of this being discussed on Fox? I'm guessing Brit Hume's "The Grapevine" might say something this week.

Subject: I also suspect John Kerry had Jim Lehrer's questions in advance...

DNC releases video:
Faces of frustration - Bush's "frustrated" reactions to Kerry during debate.

I noticed Bush's reactions last night while watching the debate, and when I heard the DNC was releasing this video I was shocked.
What I saw in Bush's reactions was a man perturbed because he's listening to lies and half-truths. Watching the DNC video a couple of times today just confirms my initial opinion.

Who wouldn't be frustrated if the questions were:
Mr Bush - What did you do wrong?
Mr Kerry - What did Bush do wrong?

I also suspect John Kerry had Jim Lehrer's questions in advance...
The questions asked, the way they were phrased and the sequence in which they were asked gave him far too many opportunities to debunk every negative flip flop fact exposed during the campaign. He was so efficient and concise he even had the opportunity to weave domestic policy shots in a foreign policy debate.

John Kerry's answers had the efficiency, grammar and formating of a prepared speech.

After the CBS forgery episode the obvious media bias is glaring and so evident it's actually brazen in its scop

I would love for it to be notes he took out of his jacket but to me it looked like it may be glasses although I don't recall him putting on glasses during the debate

"Didn't Bush have an 8 x 11 piece of paper? I thought I saw him actually pick it up at one point!"

I'm guessing that they were allowed to make notes during the debate. In this case it would make sense for the paper and pens and or pencils to be provided on the stands. I don't know what sKerry retrieved from his coat pocket. If he had a favorite pen or a lucky pencil, you would think it would have been in his shirt pocket.
