I have no problem whatsoever with infiltrating muslim groups in the USA with the intent of gaining first hand knowledge, of potential future crimes. No problem at all. What I would have a problem with would be rounding up rank and file muslims en masse and imprisoning them.

I believe you are. In fact, I completely agree with you. Islam is not a religion, but a religio-political conquista cult, and we should stop calling this a "War on Terror." It is a war against militant Islam, and as we are finding out, militancy is ultimately the true character of Islam. Many Muslims may be nonmilitant, but most (if not all) of them probably a) know very little about their faith, or b) would openly repudiate some fundamental tennets of their faith.
We can justify the suppression of orthodox Islam on the grounds that it is as much a political force as it is a religous force, defining an "orthodox Muslim" as one who puts his loyalty to the political culture of Islam above his loyalty to his country of residency (say, the U.S. or France).
There's a problem, though. If orthodox Islam is as much a political force as it is a religious one, the suppression of ALL Islam becomes necessary on the grounds that as long as any Islam exists, there is a grave danger of a fundamentalist reformation which will then declare jihad on us all.
The First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances" (emphasis added). What's more, this has never been interpreted to allow treason nor lies.
If you were arrested today for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?

I would contend that what we are fighting is not a religion but a dangerous cult. Having 2 or 2 billion followers should not be the defining factor.
The word religion does not mean 'Holy'
I do believe that many mix the two....and so it gets confusing.
There are MANY religions - over 1500 of them registered with the UN as 'legit'
They don't all agree. In no way then, can they all be 'Holy'
There are false prophets - prophets who lie.
And there are Holy Prophets - who speak the Truth.
Muhammad is Islam's only prophet - a lone acusser who attacked ALL of the Holy Apostles and Prophets of the Bible.
They all agree - concerning the Son of God. {The Koran teaches that the Son of God is an abomination.
The biggest reason Islam keeps attacking Israel - is because of the name. Israel is a name that came from God - not men. It is His heritage - and a PAINFUL reminder of "The Holy One of Israel" for all of Islam - because that keeps their only prophet - Muhammad - in second place at best.
The Koran can be taken down - by using the Holy Word of God. He told about Palestine for end times.....and condemned it!
The Koran on the other hand - forgot to mention Palestine.
That leaves ALL of Islam without an excuse for demanding that Palestine be established.

If you want to scare the 'terrorists' This is how to do it.
It proves the god of the Koran is a liar - and a producer of murderers....because he is not as 'all knowing and wise' as he claims to be.
If that were so - he would have mentioned Palestine - but he didn't. he forgot.
Sing the song of Moses and the Lamb - and the 'terrorists' will crawl back into the holes they came from.
Society has to understand - that the 'terrorists' {true Muslims] only understand the 'spiritual' realm. So - I say go there - and take out their god!
