>>we know it cannot retaliate- which just confirms that there is no real threat? <<
Just because they may not be able to retaliate does not mean there is "no real threat." There may be the very real threat of Hussein's proximity to having weapons of mass destruction.

That is the most incompetent attempt at erecting a straw man I have seen yet. I second that assessment.

You are absolutly delusional. Please point out where I have defended Saddam. I have not but you have become so blinded by your hatred that you can't even see what is going on around you.

You'd think these guys could form their own direct marketing outfit and spread the word, in a special 8 volume cassette version of "What's Wrong With America and How To Right It", complete with fold out copies of the Constitution and full colour photos of the gang of Patriots in front of the Liberty Bell, and Mt Vernon ;-)You'll also win a special breakfast with Pat, Joe, Alan, Larry, Ron, Charley and for some mauve, Justin ;-)
Send $69.99 right away. It's the best money ever spent ;-)

Sounds like Dr. Paul has hired a militant antiwar activist or two as speechwriters. Either that, or he is of French descent.
I guess Paul wants us to believe that Bush just wants to go to war for the hell of it. That if we do make a move against Iraq, it will be done for Bush's own personal benefit somehow.
It's very sad. It almost seems as if hard core libertarians have undertaken a jihad to alienate the political right, and to throw out insults and taunts such as "flabby armchair warriors" if someone dares point out to them that ignoring those who wish to do us harm does not make them less likely to do us harm- it makes it more likely that they will.

3000 Plus dead Americans doesn't seem to be enough? How many dead Americans does it take RonnieWhere has the administartion said Iraq was the terrorist sponsor? As Paul points out, the money was funded by the saudis and 15/19 of the attackers were saudi, 0 from Iraq.

By voicing concern for going to war with Iraq 'shows their true colors'? Good lord. Just accept whatever our leaders tell us without question? (Yes comrad). Btw, what's with the lame insults.
