I would really like to see garland standing in front of a firing squad someday, paying for his many vile crimes.
Knock on my door with a warrant and I will open it and comply with the warrant. Bust my door down and I will fight as I would think it is a bad guy. I am not a criminal. If a bad guy, I will probably win due to skill and firearms at my bedside and an AR hanging on the wall of my bedroom door, all at the ready. If it is the cops, I will lose due to their superior firearms and numbers.
No knock warrants should only be used in the most extreme circumstances in which an innocent is in danger. Otherwise, it puts innocents in danger.
Good post yours. I agree with everything you said. Some folks try to justify the police department’s behavior by saying that Breonna Taylor and her boyfriend were criminals.
That has nothing to do with it. The police decided to use surprise infantry assault tactics in a situation that most definitely did not require it. As I noted earlier, the cops should have simply waited for their wanted man to leave the apartment, then grab him up (that guy wasn’t even in the apartment, by the way).
I’m actually surprised that no innocents in other apartments were killed in the barrage of police gunfire.
> Any cop who falsifies a warrant should be responsible for any and every action of the warrant. Otherwise you end up with cops lying without consequences.<
When you can get away with it on a FISA warrant against a former president, why not think you can get away with it on some punk drug dealer?
EC
... legit warrant ...
Any warrant based on lies (false testimony) is NOT “legit”.
What false testimony?
They had a “ no knock warrant “
Yet they announced their presence, ordering them to open the door.
The “ drug dealer” shot through the closed door at the police.
The police returned fire killing the drug dealers accomplice.
Initially, Taylors boyfriend Kenneth Walker insisted that Breonna Taylor was the one who did the shooting - it was her apartment and her gun as well.
This is the most most plausible scenario because it is the only one that explains the ongoing unexplained mystery of just how Taylor was in the officers line of fire.
To this day nobody has been able to legitimately explain just how Taylor was in the line of fire to be shot under the prosecutors theory of the shooting.
However, Taylor being the actual shooter fits the facts of the case and the forensic evidence very well.
The Louisville prosecutor was trying to manufacture a BLM racial profiling event out of the shooting so they wanted to make Taylor look like a victim.
The prosecution offered Walker a sweet heart, get out of jail free card plea agreement to change his story to fit their narrative and give a ridiculous story he was the shooter and that he was just some well intentioned guy firing a warning shot at what he thought were home invasion intruders.
This story, of course, is totally inconsistent with the facts of the case and is highly implausible given the lines of fire and the forensic evidence in the case.
And I'm pretty sure that shooting police officers who announce their presence at your door because you thought that they were home invaders is not a legit defense.
Lying on the affidavit to the court to obtain the search warrant.

Yeah, I totally get that.
Problem is that I took a pretty close look at the facts of this case because it was such a shocking fabrication by the media and government officials to push the BLM's Defund the Police agenda.
That includes pretty much all of the publicly available evidence in the case.
I could not detect any lies on the warrant or any other misconduct on the part of law enforcement in this case.
I did find out that Breonna Taylor was a real dirt bag gangster and hard core criminal responsible for pushing the worst sort of poison drugs on her severely at risk, under privileged community for years.
She and the gang she led deserved to be taken down hard. The evidence was part of a very extensive long term investigation
Perhaps you can enlighten me to the specifics of the alleged lies you refer to.
I'd like to find out what I have missed
