Yes, heard that car companies made the windows harder after years of being lighter, making escape more difficult.

Frank Sinatra’s friend bought a new car and the doors and windows “helped” him by locking up, trapping him inside as he was burned alive. He couldn’t remember the trick to rebooting the systems to allow unlocking from inside. Followed his 75th birthday celebration in 1992. His body was burned beyond recognition. Man who was at fault for hitting the car was charged for vehicular manslaughter, felony drunken driving, leaving the scene of a traffic collision and driving with a suspended license.
