My mother, who was as sharp as a tack up until the day of her death a few months ago at the ripe old age of 89, used to enjoy aggravating the scammers. She said she didn’t understand how so many elderly people fell for the scams.
When a guy would call and tell her he was her favorite grandson, in jail and needing money, she would respond that all her grandsons were at her table eating lunch at the moment. Sometimes she’d ask which daughter did he belong to and to call her instead. Or, she would say “my grandsons are too smart to be in jail”. They would get so mad at her.
Good grief, how stupid do you have to be???
yeah... here’s a clue lady... the “perfect” guy doesn’t ask you for cash!
....and she didn't find this the least bit suspicious?

I recently saw a thing on youtube about a Canadian woman,an older woman who had recently been widowed,who was scammed out of a million dollars by her fella. Yikes!
‘Dating apps’ used to be more accurately referred to as ‘introduction’ apps/websites. It is a means of introduction to people who might work on the other side of town, attend a different church, and determine if you want to meet in person.
some of the South Asian ones are particularly rude. If you talk back to them, or tease them, they will start dropping F-bombs on you

Women scam men out of thousands of dollars and brag about it on their social media.
They deliberatsly go out on dates with men they have zero interest in a relationship with, in order to get free food.
Its a common occurrence. They think its great. Guy scams them though, and now there’s a dating problem...

I’ve also heard of people keeping a Bible by the phone and responding to each statement by the scammer with a Bible verse. There are different versions with some people starting with Genesis 1:1 and seeing how far they can get before the scammer hangs up. Others say they just pick verses at random, and some quote verses giving the plan of salvation.

Her pic shows an appropriately dressed women( at least the top part)....but the desperation, foolishness, and gullibility shines brighter.
I wonder how many songs and stories are based on deceptive love relationships....
Yeah, lot of blaming the victim goes on here.
