Fact check: Could a President Beto O'Rourke confiscate assault weapons?

Well, I hope you are never in that position. That's why we need to stop this before it's too late.

I was very happy to hear Dana Loesch on Fox news flat out state the fact we are receiving threats from our elected officials and political candidates. They are threatening the American people with this notion some law will give the government the right to forcibly steal private property and endanger or even kill American Citizens.

This is nuts and frankly I know the American people are sick of it. The President needs to start showing some leadership and put a stop to this dangerous talk coming from Washington. Everyone wants to stop mass shooters but what some are suggesting is far more dangerous and even criminal in nature. If Beto had actually been in office when he made his "we are going to take your AR15's and AKs" statement in my opinion that was actually a criminal threat of terror and he may have been subject to prosecution. If democrats want to change the Constitution there are ways to do that and they are free to suggest as such but making statements to the effect they are going to pass some law that justifies the government knocking down doors and taking property by force is a threat of terror and the DOJ needs to step in and potentially bring charges against those making these statements.

Your local county sheriff has ultimate jurisdiction within the county over all other law enforcement. That is why the sheriff is an elected position.

All politics IS local, and local politics, while seems small in comparison to national, matters more than we give credit, or realize.
