And judge’s book was never billed as a solid account but a generalized/fictionalized one to tell his story but with names changed, etc.

I thought the just two questions thing came from a misreading of a news report that mentioned two pertinent questions were asked... not that only two were asked. Two questions pertinent to the reporter’s particular angle on the story. Once it was misinterpreted as only 2 questions total it was spread far and wide without a link back to where the claim started.

The #Safeway store

Probably because it wasn’t spelled #Safeway. Try correcting the spelling and try again.

And there is no #DrFord. Or DrFord. Or even Dr. Ford. Not a doctor at all, with or without a tic-tac-toe sign.

Correct. If Mark was an accomplice to her assailant she would not walk up to him and say, ‘Hi.”

Did she read in his book that he worked at Safeway? Is that the real connection?

If the structure was there in ‘82, it is a meaningless bit of trivia.

I bet Neil Gorsuch is thinking exactly that, it could have been me she has framed!

Brett should have stated he was ‘GAAAAAy’ in HS and as a gender fluid person did not evolve into his heterosexuality until later in college. LOL

How could they combat that one?

Cells phones, video cameras were becoming available in 1988 (but only becoming common much, much later, well after 1988!), but were “just-on-the-market” in 1982-83 as point out.

1982 was “2-way radio” era, CB radio for “common folks”

In 1982, it was pagers (for a few such as on-call doctors - and NEVER high-schoolers!) and 8 mm film cameras. And 8 mm cameras were “not cool” for high school students. “Those” films were taken only by parents and grandparents.

As evidenced on this thread, this has been a Safeway since it opened in 1968.

I still have two good Children's Band, (CB,) radio's in a cabinet in the basement. Also four CB walkie talkies. All still work just fine. We used them when hunting.

I have my dad's old 8 mm movie camera. It used no batteries as it was powered by a wind up spring. He hardly ever used it as film cost money, and mom wouldn't allow frivolous wasting of money. She nagged at him for weeks about having bought the camera. That was around 1960.

My first cell phone was an analog using Verizon service. I got it in late 1998. My kids were in hs in the 80's. They never had cell phones. No way would they have had them. There was no need, even if I could have afforded them.

I agree with this (about would not say hi to alleged attacker).

Years ago, I worked in an office where a bookkeeper embezzled over $100,000. She left the office in handcuffs, and I only saw her in court sessions after that.

Until one day a couple years later, I saw her in a Hobby Lobby. I was a full-grown adult, and she did not personally attack me (my body), but I remember high-tailing it to the back corner of the Hobby Lobby, shaken, and waiting for quite awhile, hoping she was gone, and I would not encounter her.

So, it doesn’t seem right that she would be “friendly” with Judge, if she thought he was in on her “assault”, IMHO.

But unlike his accuser and her enablers, Kavanaugh is not a liar.

Joe DiGeneva finally said what everyone is afraid to say last night on the Fox show with the bald guy who wears a t shirt and sport coat.

Ford needs help, she’s bat crazy.

I saw another article suggesting that her "attack" actually occurred in the later part of the 1980s. Supposedly her therapist's notes claim it was the later part of the 1980s, and so this bit of evidence tends to support that theory.

Here is the thread.

Motorola’s DynaTAC (Dynamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage) 8000X was the world’s first commercially released mobile phone. Measuring 13 inch x 1.75 inch x 3.5 inch, this cell phone was released in 1983 with a price tag of $3,995.

They are still pretty pricey. After reading a comment about the DynaTAC, I thought it might be cool to own one, so I looked them up on EBay. Someone is trying to sell one for $9,037.05.

Maybe she could afford it with her babysitting money or something.

If she really made that "cellphone" comment, then that pretty much blows her story to hell and gone.

Dick Tracy had a wrist phone. Maybe she got one of them somehow.
