So true

Since Apr 15, 2009
You haven't been here 10 years.
If you are providing a quote, you should provide the source of the quote. Your quote doesn’t look like the full statement.
The mantra has always been repeal and replace. Did you not understand the concept of “replace”? Yes, some people want to repeal and be done, but that isn’t what the majority is pushing for.
Romney can’t repeal Obamacare, or enact new legislation. Both of those require congressional action.
But if Romney signs an executive order wiping out everything he can of Obamacare, and then he signs an executive order putting in place things he is able to do by executive order, that wouldn’t break a promise. And if Congress votes to repeal Obamacare, and then votes a new health care law into place, that also won’t violate that promise.
I don’t care who you vote for. I’m not going to tell you to vote for Romney. But I would hope you would make your decision based on facts, not what you posted in this rant.
No change in leadership and nothing else will change.
Chaos to ensue.
Correction - Romney says he supports repeal of *some* of Obamacare. And of course, this is after he pushed through MassCare, which Obama's crew admits was a blueprint for ObamaCare, so we can see where Romney's proclivities lie.
and he believes in free enterprise
Well, he *says* he does, which is different from actually believing in it.
After all, he just said yesterday that he wants to keep the provisions in ObamaCare that he likes, which includes those requiring insurance companies to take people with pre-existing conditions, and to retain "children" over 26 on their parents' policies.
You can't claim to "support the free market" while simultaneously holding to Romney's publicly stated position (as of yesterday, give it time, it may change again). Either companies freely competing with each other while trying to maximise their own profits are allowed to decide who they offer their services to, or else they are required by the force of the state to provide services against their will. It can't be both at the same time. Romney has told us which he prefers, which puts the lie to any claim that he "supports the free market."
and that has been stated consistently by him and Ryan.
So your contention is that we should believe a politician everytime he or she says something?
Solution one - stop rolling over and playing dead for the GOPe
Solution two - stop fantasizing that next time, will be different
And stop pretending Romney is something he is not
24/7 that’s funny - hahahha
LLS
The choices have been made. You get to choose on Nov. 6th. Obama or Romney. Couldn't be clearer. Oh, yes, and a thrid party vote is a wasted vote this year, when so much is at stake.
Your turn to be PO'd.
No, on my state ballot there are at least twelve candidates running for president, and if you include not voting for president, that’s at least thirteen choices for me
Sorry you have limited yourself to just two
The only one who is pretending is you, pretending to actually have a point.
You actually think the GOP-e cares about you and is paying attention to you? I don’t suffer under that delusion. That train left the station earlier this year.
The reality is, you have two choices by whom you vote for—to harm the nation or to blunt the harm.
In 57 days, the decision will be made.
With you, or without you.
Hmmm. Ok.
Then you could link to one? Say something earlier than 2009?
This link shows that pansgold's earliest post was August 18, 2009: http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:pansgold/index?tab=comments&more=64113800
Of the thirteen choices, only two have a chance to win. That's the reality.
But hey, skipping around deliriously singing "fa-lal-la-la-la-la-la" is always an option.
Well that shoots to hell the “keeping their feet to the fire”.
Good cartoon, and I have no qualms about looking my posterity in the eye and saying I did the right thing.
You do what you need to do to justify your vote for liberalism and I will do what I need to do to not vote liberalism.
God! I am so sick of these idiots that will attack our candidate at any provication; doing the work that the loony left media doesn’t get around to.
MITT ROMNEY IS NOT THE PERFECT CANDIDATE!!! GET OVER IT!!!!
Gee I know. I will show what a true conservative I am by helping to ensure that Obama gets re-elected. Then I can see I told you so. We need to run a true conservative like Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately Ronald Reagan is no longer elegible for office.
Free market? What’s that?
We’ve got live FReepers calling romneyobamacare INSURANCE, for Pete’s sake!
As long as a republican crams down socialism/Marxism in mandates, we’re suppose to sigh with relief.
Insurance use to be a business, with competition, not a social handout program stomping on liberty, as in Massachusetts, and now nationally.
Fine, and let's leave it at that. No need for you to attack people because they are voting for Romney in order to prevent Obama from getting another term.
You are free to vote whichever way you want, but that does not change the reality that this year there are only two choices, and either choice will affect the country in tremendous ways, for the remainder of my life, and the lives of my children. To me, it is either good or evil, either for America or against America, for freedom or against freedom.
