that “personal attacks” weren’t allowed.
***It gets confusing at times, doesn’t it?
I really have no party.
***And neither does Free Republic. This is a conservative website, not a republican website. It’s amazing how many freepers simply do not know that.
Chiang Kai Shek famously said that “the Japanese are a disease of the skin, the (Chinese) Communists are a disease of the heart.” And he was right. The Japanese occupation was doomed from the get-go, because they were foreigners, and over time China always got rid of its foreign occupiers. But that’s not true for an internal enemy like the Chicoms. It’s the same here. We conservatives need to WAKE UP
***That’s the rub. Free Republic seems to have been infiltrated by CINOs.
and realize that Karl Rove (”the GOP is the party of Big Government”), Mitt Romney and all that they represent, are our most lethal enemy.
***I’d rather fight someone in front of me than get stabbed in the back by an internal betrayer.
The really frustrating thing for me the past 20 years was pitiful spectacle of my fellow conservatives panting around the GOP table waiting for the Country Club gang to throw them some scraps.
***Looking at 2016, if Romney wins we would need to try to unseat a sitting republican president in the primaries. The ABO crowd seem to think this is possible, though it’s never been done.
We need a full-on purge of the Party.
***And possibly, Free Republic. On the original bugzapper thread, JimRob said that if tootyfruityrudy would become the nominee, there would be a major purge of FR to get rid of all the RINOs. Perhaps the same thing needs to happen now that Romnuts is the apparent nominee.
And if it means four more years fighting the Battle of the Wilderness, then so be it.
***We started FR in the wilderness. We can do it again.
I can only speak for myself. But I note that Jim Robinson made it very, very clear for years now that he would never support Romney. The Country Club Set ignored the warning. Now we conservatives need to make good on the threat, or lose all credibility within the GOP.
***Again you are saying, “we conservatives”. The problem I see is that there really aren’t that many conservatives posting on FR. When I scratch the surface of antagonists on FR, I find CINOs. Lots of CINOs.
It would be far better for Obama to win, at least in the long run.
***I see your courage in putting out that statement. No matter what happens in this election, conservatism lost. Maybe Ryan is a bone thrown to conservatives, but you can’t survive on bones.
I’m voting Libertarian for President, GOP for all others, providing that they’re conservatives.
***I recently decided to vote for fellow Freeper Tom Hoefling/Eternal Vigilance. At least he pings us once in a while. I have no doubts about his conservatism.
Your answer implied that line, and it got my response.
If you didn't imply that (and I think you may have), then disregard it.
Yup, I ate a couple of 'em yesterday
: > )
Here is a link to a great album I found with lots of pics in folders and it’s public, not private, you can save the photos and link to them to post here.

Ah where is this opposition going to come from..the do nothing congress..good luck with that...
On then other hand the Dims and RINO’s will be more than happy to help their guy.
JimRob, could you please put a leash on some of the posters? It is getting ridiculous in here, and I think a few need a diaper change (possible rash too :/)
I would have thought that people would have taken your (VERY DIRECT) hints over the past few weeks, but they are just getting more vicious :p
Thank you ;^)
wth? What's he doing in that one??
(thanks for the url for the pics)
Supreme Court nominees these days have about a 50% chance of fulfilling expectations vs fulfilling the opposite. (John Roberts, anyone?)
Obama has tried his best to dismantle our country, but has been restrained by the need to be reelected.
A lame duck Obama is an unrestrained Stalinist.
A first term Romney is a liberal who still loves his country.
Colorfornian doesnt care about the Republican party or the conservative movement.
***How did you get into the position where you can read his motives? I find his commentary to be quite intelligent.
He/she/it is a plant- here to spread bigotry and anti-Mormon rhetoric to make true Christian Conservatives look like idiots.
***I sincerely doubt that you have the spiritual wherewithal to look after “true Christian Conservatives”. Do you acknowledge that Jesus is God-Jehovah?
Tell us COLORFORNIAN..... Do you support the candidacy of Dean Heller-
***Like humblegunner said, I never heard of the mutt. So maybe your litmus test is a bit soggy.
Thank you for clarifying.
You may (or may not) have misjudged Romney.
I tentatively believe you have, pending further feedback.
If the GOP wins a majority in the coming elections, in the Senate also - look for serious modifications to business in DC.
I am cautiously optimistic. If not, there’s always Palin in 2016. Either way is good.
:D
This site needs to purge the non-conservatives.
***I would not be surprised to find you among the purged in purgatory.

A most eloquent statement, Kent!
... and yet, simultaneously claim (somehow) to rightfully wield some sort of "veto" authority over the principled, literally-from-Day-One stance of this site's founder and owner, whenever/wherever a Republican candidate for office might be concerned. Some "conservatives," huh...?
I can only speak for myself. But I note that Jim Robinson made it very, very clear for years now that he would never support Romney. The Country Club Set ignored the warning.
Yup.
Oh, well. "Nothing teaches like experience," they say.
