He had no probable cause for stopping her in the first place. But don’t let that fact get in the way.
Ten to One the officer is found to have done his job and done it well.
Read the police report. Yes he did.
And don’t give me the “she never got ticketed for the headlight being out” routine.. at most she would have gotten a warning to get it fixed.
The news video in post #8 at the 40 sec. spot says they have reviewed the video and dispatch audios which have substantiated the guy's claims........all posted previously.
it doesn't matter who he is or who he knows or yada yada yada.......the husband did what I would have done if under the same circumstances when wronged by any government agency.........
And as a side note Rhino, I'd have made damn sure that every major news outlet in my state would have gotten a copy of my letter.......
Because cops never lie, right?
Every warning I've ever gotten in a traffic stop was on paper.
If they hire a wily enough ass of an attorney your buddy might be looking at false arrest and imprisonment, maybe even kidnapping under color of authority for that little no directions, pull over her husband routine, with his handy little sidekick being an accessory for pulling over the husband.
Am I mistaken, here, that the woman was never formally charged with a single thing? This does not reflect well on all the drama emanating from the direction of Officer Wyrick.
....yep, and the police audio recordings of the on air conversations with the dispatcher as well as the requested on site videos. All reviewed by the news crew and substantiated................
AND NOW UNDER INVESTIGATION BY INTERNAL AFFAIRS
LOSER!
And a very, very stupid one at that...........
Yet you have no links.
There is nothing new waiting the investigation. All that is out there so far supports the officer’s version.
Hes a cop. Id bet a months pay on it. And a very, very stupid one at that...........
Which of the two is he ?
WE may be shameless but we only hit the post button once.
Officer Wyrick????? Duh!
LOL!
Let's put some other facts on the table, too.
From the husband's letter:
The NCAJ Convention was being held at the Hilton Riverside Hotel in Wilmington, North Carolina.
From the WWAY Channel 3 news story:
Hoyt Tessener says Wyrick pulled Gina Tessener over just before the Wrightsville Beach bridge.
A Google Maps driving direction search from the hotel to the bridge shows a driving time of 19 minutes.
Add to that the time it takes to walk from a banquet room in the hotel to one's car, to buckle up, to start the car, and to leave the hotel grounds. There might even have been a bathroom stop on the way out to the car and a phone call to the husband telling him she's leaving. Let's give this another 15 minutes.
Now add to this the time it takes for the trooper to pull the woman over, walk to her car, engage her in conversation, and then conclude that she had been drinking and ask her to step out of the car. Shall we give this 5 minutes?
We're now at 47 minutes since the alleged sip of wine and the beginning of this incident.
From the letter:
After Wyrick puts Gina in the backseat of the cruiser, Wyrick returns to our vehicle. Wyrick climbs into the drivers seat and stays in the vehicle for seven or eight minutes.
Now let's add a few minutes to handcuff the woman and put her in the back of the cruiser. Then let's add 5 minutes for the trooper to "shut off" the woman's car.
Now we're at 54 minutes since the alleged sip.
Another Google driving directions search indicates that it's another 4 minute drive from the bridge to the police station. Add a few minutes to get the woman out of the car and into the police station, and we're at one hour.
Your posts sound like you think this woman was drunk and that all traces of it had been cleared from her system at just the moment that the test was conducted.
By the facts in the stories, it was likely to be only a 13 minute difference between the time the woman was stopped and when she was taken to the police station to take the breath test.
At the station she blew a 0.000. How drunk do you suspect her to have been 13 minutes earlier to have blown a 0.000 now, if she was stalling as you claim?
How drunk would she have to have been when leaving the hotel, to have "smelled" of alcohol 47 minutes later, and then to have blown 0.000 13 minutes after that?

You seem to forget that there was no reason for him to ask for a breath test. She was not drinking, she was not impaired so his asking for the test was not appropriate.

>> As I pointed out earlier, an hour after one drink you have a 0.00 reading.
And an hour after no drinks, one normally has a 0.00 reading.
Why are you so interested in advancing Statism?
Yeah, having Jethro pull the husband over while he speeds away makes Gomer look like a fine upstanding public servant, LOL!
