It sounds like you don't know what you are talking about. Too many of us saw the thread that WA has removed with our own eyes and we made copies of it knowing that they would try to destroy the anti-FR evidence as soon as we posted it for all to see.
That has more to do with "hero worship" than it does with Article II. The Constitution is my "litmus" test for candidates.
Rudy, Mitt, and John all fail miserably. The "conservative" things they've done were only out of political expediency, not out of belief.
Not what we need... Period.
Elyse...obviously you had a problem...I’m just saying I didn’t....and to discredit WA as those of you have...it’s really uncalled for...
See that is the problem, we let them get to us and their goal is to run this forum into the gutter if not at all.\I was here during Teri and my heart broke when they starved her to death. I felt it was so cruel . I know how you feel. But we cannot let the nasty side of politics take away from our ability to speak our peace.
Hear, hear!
“Cant you object and keep it respectful? I guess not”
I just read post 442. What is so harsh about it?
LOL, that's rich. You claim they are AFing, but when they pull threads that aren't conducive to a good relationship between their site and FR, you accuse them of anti-freeping.
So you think cross-site activity should be allowed on the other site? Is that how it works on FR? Does FR leave posts up from sites like LP or CP? When FR pulls those threads, does that mean they are AFing?
You're logged in now. I would hope for an honest impression from you once you see what the site is about, but that's not likely to happen since you had your mind made up before you joined.
I will ask you this again - am I an anti-freeper?
Will Romneyites now complain that such statements are "hatespeech" and "DU tactics"?
Politics is a dirty, filthy business. Early American candidates would have sacrificed a kidney for todays level of "rhetoric".
From your post, it’s obvious you and I would have disagreed on the Terri S. issue.
Feeling it was cruel is one thing, the single-issue kookery shown by some on your side (not all!) is another.
Take care,
CD
Well, yes, I obviously have a problem with people getting together on another website and discussing posting in a thread on FR to upset FR posters and disrupt the board. If you don't have a problem with it, it's probably because you are a member there.
....you and your friends are doing quite well with trying to disrupt FreeRepublic...thank you just the same...
It's the result of doing a lot of thinking on the topic, and having experienced the same feelings for some time now.
I think a lot of people who have not yet gone through the meat grinder here, will do so in the coming months, and I thought I would comment on it.
As to a solution to the problem, I have none. Well...............I have one.
The solution will be clear when one faction or another routs the other and takes the movement in the direction it wants with solid leadership.
Right now, there is no leadership, since Bush has been deballed and lamed only months after being elected to his second term during his SCOTUS picks by the social tightie righties, and the party is in shambles as a result. It was the beginning of a serial attack on the President and the leader of the party. Worse than the reality of it, it happened during wartime and the Dem's took advantage of the weakness.
I suspect it will remain in shambles until we hate democrats more than we hate each other.
That will happen eventually. When.......I don't know.
What it the HECK are you talking about??? lol
People here have discussed more about WA in this thread than WA has EVER about FR. Brother.
Hey wait, maybe this is a WAfer site! LOL. I coined the phrase “WAfer” and hereby claim all copyright priviledges under US Law.
I will go there and give an honest impression as a guest. I have no desire to post there - I will make one test post but will not attempt to disrupt the forum.
Does the access include Salt River on a read-only basis?
You logged in an entire 20 seconds. Man, talk about the Fast Food generation. Is that a bag from McDonalds sitting on your desk?
Well I am sorry you feel that way. It was a terrible way for her to die. Not only that but one woman who had brain damage actually woke up and it shocked the medical community. they too thought she was brain dead and found out she heard everything including where they wanted to bury her after she died the same way. Not too many news networks even carried the story. I am sorry you feel that way , but it is your feelings do take care.
My thanks to those who actually contributed to the discussion.
