Sings "The Change" by Garth Brooks. I don't know the song, but I have to say, I'm impressed with Phil's performance.

Simon: "I like you. You've come back with a spring in your step." Recomends that Phil sing Country songs with a Country voice.

You nailed it!
They KNOW that the “diva” vote is being split between Jordon, Melinda and Lakisha. If Lakisha’s gone, there’s less votes to split.
I also think they didn’t like Phil and Chris Sligh at first, hence they pimped Chris R. That worked well as he’s still there. Too bad. I liked Chris S.
