still doesn’t explain WHY she was killed....obviously its more than an accidental killing since the Sloot hit her with a rock.....
OR, maybe they didn’t give her enough, then she ‘came to’ during the rapes and was about to scream, when jvds hit her with a rock.

More of the same, except they have asked everyone to post off topic on a new thread. Not as much posting in the Natalee thread, but what is posted there is all case related. Everyone is waiting for TES to go back to Aruba which will now be after hurricane season. Probably in November.
SM was also looking at that post from BFN and many have their opinions. Me...I’m not certain it’s legit, but who knows, maybe it is.
well, debbie at BFN posted an email from codebreaker who admits this has been a surmised scenario (as he stated at the beginning; an opinion based on fact) taken from anywhere from shango to police statements...
there may be value in placing this outline on top of what we already know, but the implication this was someone with firsthand knowledge has been eliminated
what really alerted me is the use of a rock, as the inclusion of natalee falling and hitting her head appears in all three statements of J2K, and then also being in steve croes police statements, showed this was an obvious effort at the poolside strategy session, where these lies were dreamed up, to cover a head wound
mark furman was the first expert to spot this proof of an orchestrated coverup effort (by inserting this “fell and hit her head” lie) and has emphasized it on several occassions when discussing his view of the case...why did paulus and the boys need this tidbit in ALL of the dishonest and created stories of the HI dropoff? what is it supposed to cover? most of joran’s reported next day boasting and babbling underscores a head injury, also
I saw the post by Debbie. I suppose codebreaker did the same thing everyone else does by posting a theory. He did make it sound like he had some firsthand information and that is what got everyone’s attention.
The head injury issue has always stuck in my mind. Deepak claimes he is the one who made up the security guard part of the story but I have seen nothing in any of their statements explaining why they lied about her falling out of the car and hitting her head. You’re right that Joran made up a different story to tell his classmates by saying they went swimmming and she hit her head and drowned.
So it would appear that early on Joran may have believed the body would be found and he is trying to explain away any head truama that would be discovered.
Interesting read from Aruba on the Dutch investigation, if we can call it that. Will have to wait and see, again.

In November The Justice Department Will Take a Decision on the Nataly [sic] Holloway Case
Oranjestad. The developments in the investigations of the disappearance case of Nataly [sic] Holloway case have changed. This is what Bon Dia Aruba could conclude after an interview with the spokeswoman for the Justice Department mr. [lawyer —ag] Vivian van der Biezen.
Previously Bon Dia Aruba had published that the Dutch investigative team returned to the Netherlands because of the vacation season and that the intention was to return next month to continue the investigations together with the Aruban team. After the Dutch team returned to the Netherlands, the Aruban team continued the necessary investigations.
Bon Dia Aruba understood from the Justice Department that the decision has been made to evaluate all the information produced by the investigations. This will take the necessary time and during the evaluation of the information it will be seen if assistance from the Netherlands is still necessary. If this is necessary they will be called to return but if this is not necessary, than the Justice Department will conclude from the gathered information what is going to happen with the Nataly [sic] Holloway case.
The Justice Department stipulated that in November 2007 a decision will be made with the Nataly [sic] Holloway case. The Justice Department will choose to commence a criminal case against the three suspects who are Joran van der Sloot and the brothers Kalpoe, or the Justice Department will decide that there is not sufficient evidence to start a criminal case and will let the case go.
It can be expected that whatever decision the Justice Department takes, this will have international coverage and possibly there will be members of the American press once more on Aruba to search for information and bring this into publicity as they see fit and consequently this could hurt the image of our island.
It could hurt their image, so they’re waiting until tourist season ends in Nov. Any bets they drop it [again?]

the island voided having the singular say so when they invited the Dutch investigation in, and as i posted elsewhere, this dismissal is about as likely as the kalpoes actually going to court and winning against dr. phil: estimated probability: 0, even as it is said that anything is possible in the long range scheme of things

I’d have guessed it would normally start to pick up then, and remain heaviest throughout the winter.....No? As in Florida wintertime “snowbirds”, or who wants to go to somewhere even hotter during the summer....”
A few things to keep in mind while awaiting this November decision:
Beth’s book comes out in October.
Dave stated that the FBI was working with the Dutch and that he was getting routine updates from them.
If they try to claim overdose they will have to prove it to the American public (tourists). Unless they have a body they cannot prove that.
If they try to close it altogether the boycott will gain new momentum, especially when you consider Beth will be on TV a lot because of her book.
I think the Dutch will be more careful than Aruba. We’ll have to wait and see if the Dutch really want this solved as much as we do.
But, I guess I misunderstood: I thought Aruba will be deciding if they want ‘help’ from the Dutch...?
That is the way it’s written, however, I do believe the Dutch are encouraging Aruba to make the correct decision. That doesn’t mean they will, but I do belive there is some political pressure from both sides squeezing in on Aruba. With Beth’s book coming out you know there will be new publicity and the family will probably be letting everyone know that the Dutch and FBI have been investigating and will be ‘allowing’ Aruba to respond to the information very soon.
Also, TES is due back in Aruba in November. They had to wait for the two boats (very big boats may I say) to be equipped and now they are waiting until hurricane season has passed. They don’t want to get half way to Aruba only to have to try and avoid a hurricane at sea.
I hope we are seeing a true effort to resolve this. They did nothing in the beginning.
I wouldn’t say they did nothing. I would say they did everything wrong. They probably botched it on purpose because of PVDS prominence on the island. I wonder if the ‘control’ of the Dutch over Aruba is about like ours over Puerto Rico?
I don't know how prominent Paulus really was on that island, but I do think the status quo is to ignore and/or cover up any type of crime against tourists in Aruba. I think this is want got them in such a mess. The first reaction was to hide everything...blame it on the tourist. Then Beth showed up with the media right behind her. Aruba got away with cover ups for Max DeVries and Buddy Larson, but Beth got there way too fast and got way too much media coverage for this to just go away. Now they can't tell the truth because there are people involved in the coverup that would really show the true character of Aruba's law enforcement and/or politicians. They know if Joran and Paulus go down for this they will spill their guts about other things happening on that island.
I don't know how much control the Dutch government has over Aruba. Technically, only in international affiars do the Dutch get involved. Technically this is a domestic affair for Aruba. But I would think that political pressure could change they way this is viewed if necessary.
