Is that the civility that you're talking about?

Evidence? Like the mountains of documentation pointing to foul play and judicial corruption? The evidence that a woman is being starved to death in the United States of America by order of the government? The Death-to-Terri crowd has been dogmatically ignoring evidence throughout this debate.

Reason? As in religiously adhering to the judgement of the "rule of law" even when it is eminently provable that not only was the law not followed in this case, but rather made up by the judge entirely based on his own discretion?

Logic? As in the logic that says starving someone to death is not the same as murdering them?


Clean your own house, first, and then maybe I'll take those arguments seriously.

This is the Wolfson Report in HTML format. He was one of four of Terri's guardian ad litems and both sides trusted him and liked him. It gives the most complete history regarding this matter, and I skipped right past the first few paragraphs of legalese to the history and read from there.

Personally, I find rationale discourse to be more informative than slogan-shouting. Perhaps you find the latter more informative, but I really can't imagine what information you are deriving.

A breath of fresh air blows through.

So many of us truly feel sorrow for the Schindlers. I think these people have been used and exploited beyond words. To assume that because lots of good and respectful Republicans don't want to impeach Jeb (or his brother) makes us murderers at heart is to misunderstand our views, utterly.

I think this case has been badly handled by the lawyers for the Schindlers- with more competent advice this would have played out differently. That's a simple observation- not a condemnation of the pro-life movement.

The very minute I read the Nazi refrain begin, I don't even read the rest of the post, article or editorial. Playing that game will lose more supporters- that comparison cannot be taken seriously and no one will be persuaded to reconsider their views by comparing them to a member of the Third Reich.

As a nation we are accepting that the law may unequivocally state that a mother may not put water on the lips of her dying daughter.

If analogies, metaphors, comparisons and other characterisations about that phenomena are troubling for you I will be sensitive to your pain and refrain from making any.

I will leave it to you to frame an appropriate Politically Correct characterisation for what it is to be a nation that finds that to be a legal, correct and unchangeable decision.
