Several that have been civil in their opinion that Terri shouldn't have died abandoned the threads yesterday due to the Auschwitz/Nazi graphics. Sad.
My reaction to the repeated postings of Nazi references and photos is two-fold: 1) When you start calling the person with whom you disagree a "Nazi," you've already lost the argument and shown yourself to be incapable of rational debate; and 2) what an insult to those who actually died at the hands of the Nazis in death camps or in battle.
Gotta be in ranks to break ranks, my friend.
awright
FWIW, I think Jim is right to leave them up. It'll give people a reference point to remind the what happens when you let your emotions get the better of your judgement.
You could be right. Maybe it would help if a few more people tried it on this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1376775/posts

To say the least. And that's exactly what happened on the above link. An extremely polite poster who lost family members in the concentration camps objected to the images. I don't know if he/she reported abuse or not, but have pinged him to this post.
Boy, that's some pretty sick stuff. The thread is a week old, I have to think FR feels it's appropriate to leave it up.

It's still active today.
Oops, my bad. Sorry.
No prob ;-)
:)
Yes, you wonder.
I'll tell you when you feel that you are curious.
You are a disappointment.
Aren't you the only one who could destroy Superman? And wasn't Superman the Defender of Truth, Justice, and the American Way? Hmm...
Just a note that I deeply appreciate the empathy that you and others have shown with regard to the utter tastelessness of posting Nazi references on some threads.
I am not normally easily offended, but to insinuate that one horrific murder of a helpless and innocent woman in our country represents a watershed event that will turn America into a nazi-type regime is ridiculous on the face of it.
Moreover, as you so well seem to understand, it diminishes the evil the Nazis perpetrated and is an insult to the millions who perished because of them.
Green kryptonite, the only variety potentially fatal to Superman, induces lassitude and inertia followed by death if not removed in time from Superman's presence.
Red kryptonite inflicts bizarre and unpredictable - albeit temporary and nonfatal - symptoms, as when it divides Superman into twins or transforms him into an infant or a giant ant.
Gold kryptonite would permanently rob Superman of his super-powers were he ever to be exposed to its radiations.
These three varieties of kryptonite are similarly hazardous to Supergirl, Krypto the Superdog, and all other surviving natives of Krypton.
Blue kryptonite is toxic only to Bizarro creatures.
White kryptonite is harmful only to plant life.
Log, splinter, etc. Let us know how your effort works out.
LOL Sooo true.
There seems to be no urgency to change Texas law. Also, sustenance and hydration are not considered medical treatment in Texas as they are in Florida.
Not the real Superman. Only the new liberal Superman. You can destroy him. He's a fake.
