I'll try.
Welcome back.
I missed that as I have given up on Rush. I am an original Rush fan by the way. Been a talk show junkie since '76. Actually I used to listen to Paul Harvey when I was a teenager in the sixties.
Rush is all bombastic all the time any more. He's offensive where he used to be a great listener to his callers. He's pushy where he used to be entertaining. He's even hateful these days.
Maybe he's back on dope or that liberal broad he's been fornicating with has gotten to him. I just don't like the man any more.
Okay, I gotta say it. You crack me up!
Are you not yet weary beyond reason? You have been fighting so long and hard. I really appreciate your effort.
Yes, it was on a Saturday night when things, absent an election, Terri crisis, or any other political or social debacle wasn't happening.
I posted an article from USA Today, I think, which talked about the new fad of putting foam fake nipple pads on the outside of bras. I thought it was an opening for an intellectual discussion of societal and cultural values, or maybe just a chance to make cheap wisecracks. I forget which.
It was yanked, and another kind Freeper wrote my opus the next Monday, asserting that I was too distraught to do it myself. It was pretty good comedy, but, yes, having a thread pulled is not fun.
Heads up- Ken Starr on Greta...reasonable as ever!
Thanks
Larry Klayman on CNN talking about his grandmother being in a nusring home. *Snicker*
Paul Harvey is great.
Anyways.......
You have opinions I have opinions
I just want all loose ends dealt with....
The wording about this coming autopsy seem to be only about the brain.... I hope it is a complete examine of the whole body by an non Ethic ME!
In the end those of us who feel this way are the voice for Terri......
Michael is able to carry on with his life until the Ethic Society ask him to get off this planet!:)
If I ever have Jesse Jackson and Larry Klayman on my side, consider this my written ORDER to have me killed as soon as possible.
I didn't "get" your post at first because I hadn't made it to the 800's yet. Glad you're back.
Even if you don't have a feeding tube?
"So, if you can't see the evidence of said injury, it MUST still be there?"
****
No that is not what he said, there were marking only debate able 91 and the latest equiptment (MRI an also ct-scan) will identify.....just like DNA today can clear one or accuse one in a debate able situation!
Oh, Bertha. Bless you for saying that. It's responses like that that keep me going. LOL
I feel very passionate about this matter. And for more than just the right to self determination.
When I think what this has done to the pro life movement and the face of compassionate conservatism, I could weep.
Do you now how many women my age are becoming grandmothers and have seen their daughters sonograms and thought, that IS life. And new technology lets people know that at some age, 12 weeks (?), doctors can clap near the mom's tummy and the unborn baby puts their hands to their ears.
Those women were going to counsel their grandchildren and nieces never to get pregnant unless they wanted a baby.
But now, the pro life movement is seen in a bad light because of Randall Terry and those supporters who are yelling into bullhorns all night disturbing the dying patients, many of whom can hear and respond to stimulation, unlike Terri.
And the face of compassionate conservatives is tied to the movement. And this doesn't look compassionate to me.
And the president can forget getting his judges nominates, imo.
It's set us back 20 years. I'm furious.
I've been accused of being obsessed with this. That is because I could see the train wreck coming...a lot of us could. We tried to staunch the flow but too late.
Especially if I don't have a feeding tube.
Was it interesting?
What was it about?
Hmmm. Yes, it was interesting. What was it about? *fingers drumming on desk* Well, it started it with the planet earth getting an eviction notice because some alien culture was planning a construction project and the earth was going to be demolished to make room for said project. However, the notice was overlooked, although it had been properly posted according to the Regulations. The hero of the story, Arthur Dent, escapes the planet on an alien ship and embarks on a series of very odd adventures, and ends up at the Restaurant at the End of The Universe. Hitchhiker's Guide
What's the deal?
