Well deserved.
That said, $6k for a paint job on a vehicle with existing dents? Is that to fix everything he didn’t do and make it a show truck?

There is no “Live and Let Live” in them.
There are no emotional damages available for harm to assets.
Need assault or personal injury of some kind.
This is why if someone kills a beloved cat (for example) the damages are basically nothing.
Some explode immediately. Some play ‘passive-aggressive’ for a while, and THEN explode.
And some are just cowards who will do bad stuff when they think nobody’s looking, but fold when they’re caught.
(I like the ones of teenaged girls who get all in the cop’s face at first, and then wind up yelling for their mommy or daddy when the cuffs go on and the reality of arrest sets in.)
He probably thought Keying a car is no worse than spitting on it, not realizing he's causing $1000's in damage in under a minute.
a neighbor had this happen, $1700 in damages because the ass didn't like how the car was parked. a college student late for class pissed at the world.. the insurance had to pay the damages and the guy only had to pay the mans deductible, GRRRRRRRR!

You don’t have to answer anything you don’t want to, and can ask for a lawyer at any point.
The sad things are the following:
1. Came from NY and brought his Northern Politics to Florida.
2. People have a right to an opinion, all Americans including liberals, and they shouldn’t be ‘keyed’ because you don’t like it.
3. We are never going to get anywhere solving problems as a nation if Democrats think this kind of behavior is acceptable because the media told them “Trump is a NAZI”. The media tells them whatever based on who is paying their bills.....which right now is FedGov and three letter acronyms who don’t mind bleeding the national treasury and our future, dry.
4. This person has yet to have the realization that is necessary: THERE IS ONE POLITICAL PARTY IN WASHINGTON D.C., AND THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AND NOT YOUR OPINION. That’s why they violated state election laws to get a demented guy in.
Pretty sure someone who hates Trump would Kay the truck so hard it would gouge even through the primer. Then apparently- though he denies it - he went all the way around the vehicle so it would be a case of every single panel being gouged.

Oh yeah. He said something to her like “I’m sorry.” She looked disgusted, waved him off, and Said “Don’t. Don’t” LOL.
He does seem mild mannered, the kind of guy who would never mess with you in a setting where he knew it could become a physical fight with no interruptions.
So what is underneath that mild, no confrontation veneer, an angry nasty cowardly guy who will do vandalism on your stuff when no one is looking and walk away pleased internally with his secret form of lashing out.

I can easily see $6K, especially since it's both sides of the truck. Paint (especially) and body work are super expensive now. I got a quote last year to fix a bad repair/paint job on the right side of the hood of one of my old cars, from a guy who's fairly reasonable, and it was $2000 -- just for the right side of the hood.
This is why you won’t see Trump bumper stickers in California. But if there’s a car, boat, or walking, rally, then all the gear comes out. 😎
