Al Qaeda's second-in-command urged Palestinians in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip not to succumb to Arab pressure for a truce with Israel and vowed to support fighting against the Jewish state. The militant leader in a recording posted on the Internet on Monday also called on Muslims in Yemen, Afghanistan and Somalia to press ahead with fighting "crusaders" -- a term used to denote the West -- and their agents. "Israel's Arab aides are trying to impose a calm (truce) on the people of Gaza to stop their jihad ... I tell our brothers and folk in Gaza that jihad to...

Qaeda's Zawahri dismisses Obama, U.S. still enemy 03 Feb 2009 20:31:39 GMT Source: Reuters DUBAI, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's deputy leader dismissed U.S. President Barack Obama's expression of concern over killings in Gaza as an empty gesture on Tuesday and said Washington remains a main enemy of Muslims. "I remind our mujahideen brothers that our enemy in Gaza is not only Israel but the Zionist-crusader coalition, with America, the leader of evil ... at its head," Ayman al-Zawahri said in an audio recording posted on Islamic websites. "Obama said he was concerned about the killings of civilians in...

ZAWAHIRI OBAMA COMMENT FOCUSES ATTENTION ON ARAB SLAVERY By Judith A. Klinghoffer (bio) Tell a FriendPrinter FriendlyFont [+]Font [–] Is is possible that Ayman Zawahiri calling Barack Obama a “house slave” or “house negro” has done what Dafur genocide failed to to and focus attention on the long ignored Arab slave trade and Arab racism? If Washington Post columnist Colby King angry outburst on Inside Washington is to be judged typical it just may be. Given Arab involvement in the West and East African slave trade, Colby inquired, how dare Zawahiri make any references to American slavery? He went on...

Just when it seemed the insults hurled at Barack Obama had reached the apex of absurdity, al-Qaida weighs in with a bit of retro name-calling of its own. In a video released last week, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the top deputy to Osama bin Laden, denounced Obama as a “house Negro” and compared him unfavorably to “honorable black Americans” such as the late Malcolm X, the black nationalist who practiced Islam. Zawahiri also showed a still photograph of Obama wearing a yarmulke while visiting Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall last summer. The implication was that Obama had become nothing more than a “tool of...

Did Qaradhawi, Zawahiri, bin Laden (if he’s even alive), and the rest of the jihadist leadership really want McCain to win? They may indeed have been rooting for the “never-ending war” candidate, but apparently the liberal commentariat, trusting fellows that they are, aren’t familiar with a concept popularly known as “reverse psychology.” It doesn’t seem to have occurred to any of these sages that perhaps al-Qaeda wanted Obama to win all along, and that when the pundits of the North West Frontier Province came out for McCain they were in fact calculating that their endorsement would persuade wavering Americans to...

The mainstream media are very upset by the non-surprising fact that in a video released yesterday, Al-Qaeda mastermind Ayman Al-Zawahiri called Barack Hussein Obama one of the "Abeed Al-Beit"--house slaves (singular would be Abed Al-Beit). But the mainstream media ignore the fact that Blacks are regularly called the derogatory "Abed" (slave) and "Abeed" (slaves)--the equivalent to the Arabic version of the N-word--in the everyday Arabic and Muslim vernacular. I see and hear it on the streets of Dearborn and on their radio shows here. And I've noted this on my site repeatedly over the last decade.

WASHINGTON — In a propaganda salvo by Al Qaeda aimed at undercutting the enthusiasm of Muslims worldwide about the American election, Osama bin Laden’s top deputy condemned President-elect Barack Obama as a “house Negro” who would continue a campaign against Islam that Al Qaeda’s leaders said was begun by President Bush. Appealing to the “weak and oppressed” around the world, the Qaeda deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri, said in a video released Wednesday that the “new face” of America only masked a “heart full of hate.” For years, the terrorist network sought to fuel anti-Americanism with prolific audio and video recordings vilifying...

[snip] "Barack Obama has won the presidency of the United States of America, and on this occasion, I would like to send several messages. "First, a message of congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the American people's admission of defeat in Iraq. Although the evidence of America's defeat in Iraq appeared years ago, Bush and his administration continued to be stubborn and deny the brilliant midday sun. If Bush has achieved anything, it is in his transfer of America's disaster and predicament to his successor. But the American people, by electing Obama, declared its anxiety and apprehension about the future...

CAIRO, Egypt — Al Qaeda's No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the president-elect in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites. The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Ayman al-Zawahiri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites, that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader. In Al Qaeda's first response to Obama's victory, al-Zawahiri also called the president-elect — along...

When millions of Americans as well as billions of people world-wide woke up the morning after Barack Obama was elected President, they probably expected the dawn of a new age. Sorry to disappoint all you Obama-kool-aid drinkers, but America's enemies still hate us and do so regardless who occupies the White House. This morning our friends from Al-Qaida posted a message on militant websites aimed at persuading Arabs and Muslims to not believe that Obama's election will change U.S. policies. While I have sounded the alarm bell that an Obama Presidency will weaken America and be detrimental to the State...

Not allowing any time for the new American President Elect to appoint his cabinet, take the oath of office and lead the National festivities accompanying his inauguration, the Propaganda Chief for the Al-Qaida terrorist movement, Dr. Ayman al-Zawahri, has issued the first in what may become regular diatribes and threats against President Elect Barack Obama. In this highly inflammatory message he singled out the President Elect for disdain by using an Arabic racial epithet intending derision. He also included the highly respected Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice in this racist rant, calling them all the equivalent of...

He likened him to a "house slave" - who had chosen to align himself with the "enemies" of Islam. Mr Obama has said stamping out al-Qaeda "once and for all" will be a top priority during his administration. On Sunday, he said capturing or killing Osama Bin Laden was "critical" to US security. He has also...

Foreign Relations: Those hoping that a new president will bring respect and admiration for America are likely to be disappointed. The haters will always find reasons to despise us, no matter who's president.Al-Qaida's No. 2, Ayman al-Zawahri, appeared on terrorist Web sites Wednesday calling President-elect Obama, along with former and current Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, "house slaves" who are aligned with Islam's "enemies." Such vile language isn't surprising, we suppose, coming from an unhinged terrorist. And, just for the record, al-Zawahri's one to talk. His terrorist group even today supports slavery in Africa. But his words...

Ayman Al Zawahiri the second in command of Al Qaeda released an audio tape today stating that the election of Obama is a defeat for the United States and a victory for Al Qaeda. He said that the American people admitted defeat in Iraq and therefore they elected Obama because they rejected President Bush policies in Iraq. He also warned Obama not to send more troops in Afghanistan and told him to leave that country. Below is the full translation of terrorist Zawahiri speech as posted on one terrorist forum:

WASHINGTON, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's deputy leader accused Barack Obama of betraying his race and his father's Muslim heritage on Wednesday and urged more attacks, as the group tried to counter the incoming U.S. president's global popularity. Osama bin Laden's second-in-command Ayman al Zawahri attacked Obama as a "house Negro," a racially-charged term used by 1960s black American Muslim leader Malcolm X to describe black slaves loyal to white masters. "You represent the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like ... Malcolm X," Zawahri said in al Qaeda's English translation of his remarks. It was al Qaeda's first...

The number two guy in al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahri, has just released a new video/audio attack on President-elect Barack Obama and America. The 11-minute, 23-second video features the audio message by al-Zawahri, who appears only in a still image, along with other images, including one of Obama wearing a Jewish skullcap. Ayman may be a heck of a terrorist, but in terms of vitriol, creativity, insult, and nuance he would be a lousy talk host. First of all, a demo tape that runs nearly 12 minutes would be too long for a busy program director looking for new talent. He needs...

AL-QAEDA NO. 2 CALLS BUSH A FAILURE AND LIAR IN VIDEO STATEMENT Al-Qaeda No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri condemned President Bush in a video statement released Friday, calling him a failure and a liar in the war on terror. ''Can't you be honest at least once in your life, and admit that you are a deceitful liar who intentionally deceived your nation when you drove them to war in Iraq,'' al-Zawahri said in a portion of the video released by the Washington-based SITE Institute. Al-Zawahri also criticized Bush for continuing to imprison al-Qaeda leaders in prisons, including al-Qaeda No. 3 Khalid...

Al-Qaida marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks Monday with an hour and a half video message summarizing the state of jihad, or holy war, around the world and slamming Iran for collaborating with the United States. In the short excerpts aired on the Arab satellite news channel Al-Jazeera, al-Qaida Number 2, Ayman al-Zawahri accused Iran working with US forces. "The guardian of Muslims in Teheran is cooperating with the Americans in occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and recognizes the two hireling governments there," he said. Zawahri also criticized the Shi'ites for not "issuing any fatwa (edict) inside or outside...
