Tiger Woods after shooting a dismal +3 for 11 holes and tied for 26th place withdrew from the Doral Cadillac Championship. He "says" it's due to a leg injury. Could be just embarrassment over his pi$$ poor performance.

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- Perhaps it is rare to think of Tiger Woods mingling among a crowd of people wealthier than him, but there he was Sunday afternoon on the 18th green at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, as U.A.E. sheikhs worth billions tried to administer a trophy presentation.

THOUSAND OAKS, California - Two years after his life and career came crashing down, Tiger Woods is a winner again.

One shot behind with two holes to play, Woods finally looked like the player who dominated golf for so much of his career. He birdied his last two holes Sunday, making a 6-foot putt on the 18th, to win the Chevron World Challenge by one shot over former Masters champion Zach Johnson.

I've heard the accusations, but is it true? I don't support him for POTUS by the way, I'm just curious what others think.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Say goodbye to Tiger Woods. You won't see him this weekend, or on the PGA Tour for at least six weeks. Woods was 10 over par after two rounds and missed the cut at Atlanta Athletic Club, the first time he's ever missed a cut in 14 PGA Championship appearances, which means he will not qualify for the Tour's FedEx Cup playoff series. Somewhere, television executives have tears in their eyes. It was the fourth time Woods has missed the cut at a major championship. He previously failed to make the weekend at the 1996 Masters,...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Tiger Woods has decided to get rid of Steve Williams as his caddie. Woods announced on his website Wednesday that he and Williams, who have been together since March 1999, will no longer be working together. Woods said only that it was time for a change. Woods did not say who would replace Williams, or when he would return. Williams has worked the last two majors for Adam Scott of Australia.

While such parks normally are bustling with people - and have facilities to serve them - the relative seclusion appears to have emboldened some to do their business along trails and other areas where no Minnesotan would normally dare to squat. "People are taking it upon themselves to go out in the woods and relieve themselves, and without the presence of employees and others, they're not picking up after themselves," Konrad said. "People are also having a tendency not to pick up after their pets."

A Canadian sports doctor whose high-profile clients have included Tiger Woods and Alex Rodriguez pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to bringing unapproved drugs, including human growth hormone, into the United States to unlawfully treat pro athletes. Dr. Anthony Galea, a healing specialist from Toronto who was sought out by the biggest names in sports, was indicted by a federal grand jury in October on charges that he smuggled human growth hormone and other substances into the United States and lied to border agents to avoid getting caught. He faces similar charges in Canada.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla . -- Tiger Woods stood behind the ninth green on Thursday and wondered aloud at what had just transpired. On a day in which good shots were few and far between, not to mention few and far afield, he has just bombed his second shot on the par-5 hole over the green on the fly and into an oak tree behind the green. It was a towering shot that was seemingly in the air forever. He handed the club back to caddie Steve Williams and said, "I just hit it 290 with a 5-wood?" Even the...

Thomas Woods here addresses a question that many of his readers will find of vital personal concern, but even those who need not confront this question directly have much to gain from his analysis of it. Woods is a Roman Catholic and also supports free enterprise capitalism. He rejects the need for any government intervention to correct the supposed excesses of the free market. In support of this view, Woods relies principally upon Austrian economics, of which he shows himself in this book a gifted expositor. May a Catholic accept the free market in the unreserved fashion of our author?...

BERWICK, Louisiana (WVLA) - A deer hunter captures a spooky image wandering through the Louisiana woods at night. A hunter near Baton Rouge says he found this freaky photo on his deer stand camera. The hunting camera was broken but the memory card was still there and so was this bizarre image. It looks like a cross between a human and an animal, with long slender appendages and glowing eyes. The hunter says he just hopes it's a vegetarian, if he runs into it in the woods again.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Lee Westwood has spent the past month as the new No.1 golfer in the world, Jim Furyk was voted the PGA Tour’s Player of the Year, but Graeme McDowell has more claim than anyone to having had the most noteworthy season of all. He won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, the first European in 40 years to do so, and was a Ryder Cup hero. That trumps three victories and the FedEx Cup crown, no matter how many million comes with ti.

In addition to the most uniform combinations and the most luxurious locker rooms of any school in the nation, Oregon will soon be able to lay claim to the country's most original basketball floor. Oregon officials unveiled the floor of newly built Matthew Knight Arena on Friday, and to say the least the design lives up to the school's reputation for cutting-edge panache and flair. The court is framed on all sides by a forest of fir trees, an homage to the school's picturesque Pacific Northwest setting and to Oregon's 1939 national title team nicknamed "The Tall Firs." Kilkenny Floor...

A photographer for the Daily Mail got an amazing picture at the Ryder Cup of Tiger Woods flubbing a shot headed directly at the camera. He didn't duck and Tiger's golf ball actually hit the lens — but not before the image was captured midflight. The photo has been seen around the world. But that's not what's captivating the Web. It's the amazingly unique look of the fan standing just to the right of Tiger's shoulder, chomping on a cigar, wearing a turban-like brown hat, and sporting a thick, Groucho Marx–style mustache. The spectator just steals the show. And just...

AN anchor on America's Golf Channel made an embarrassing slip when referring to Tiger Woods' withdrawal from The Players Championship in Florida yesterday. Woods, who was playing in his third tournament since returning from his self-imposed sex scandal exile that lasted nearly five months, blamed a bulging disk in his upper back for his decision to pull out of the $9.5 million tournament. But while reporting on the withdrawal of Woods, the female anchor instead blamed a "bulging d**k."
