Donald Trump's tough talk on law and order in a time of growing national insecurity appears to be winning over some of his fiercest skeptics - women initially put off by his swaggering tone, his clashes with female critics and past affairs. But so far those are mostly conservative women. As Trump hones his message, the challenge is to make it also resonate among independent or undecided female voters who are crucial to his hopes of winning the U.S. presidential election in November. Turmoil on the streets both abroad and at home could give Trump a new opportunity to do...

Donald Trump has already had problems making inroads with female, gay and minority voters. His vice-presidential pick, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, could make things even worse. Pence, the Republican governor of Indiana, has endorsed conservative legislation on abortion, gay rights and immigration both in his home state and while in Congress, where he was consistently ranked as one of the most right-leaning members of the House. He attempted to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood funding, supported a measure that made English the nation's official language and signed one of the nation's strictest abortion laws earlier this year. Pence...

The University of Virginia (right), the location of the infamously fabricated gang-rape story printed in Rolling Stone last year, has found itself in the spotlight again thanks to another allegation of sexual assault - but this time the events surrounding the alleged rape are all too real. Sophomore volleyball player Haley Lind (left) believes she was raped at a UVA house party on August 22, 2015. The freshman athlete she was with swears it was all consensual. Both have been left distraught. And the UVA says there's just not enough evidence to do anything about it, The Washington Post reported.

The rise of radical Islamism throughout Europe has left no exceptions. Notoriously tolerant Sweden has found itself on the receiving end of multiculturalism, with religious extremism steadily gaining ground. Recently, a small town in southern Sweden was shocked by extremist stickers advocating violence toward non-Muslim women. Following the unhindered influx of migrants, which was heavily advertised by media and the majority of the political establishment, Sweden has seen an equally unhindered wave of sexual attacks. To add insult to injury, blatantly non-PC stickers advocating violence against women were spotted in the town of Nybro in Sweden's southern province of Småland, the local news outlet 24Nybro reported. "Women who do...

Teachers at a school in Germany staged a walkout protest at an end-of-term ceremony for A-level students after a Muslim pupil refused to shake the hand of his class mistress on 'religious grounds.' As the female teacher at the Kurt-Tucholsky School in Hamburg went to shake the hand of the student he offered his wrist instead. Apparently, seconds later, he told her; 'No offence, my religion won't let me do that. I do not mean to disrespect you.'

In an effort to maintain the new status quo of cutting standards everywhere in the name of equality and "progress", the Marine Corps announced major changes over the Fourth of July holiday weekend regarding how much it will allow service members to weigh, and the biggest shift comes for women: going forward "larger" ladies will be allowed to defend the country while also standards used within the physical fitness test will also be relaxed. In a document released by USMC Fitness division, the new height and weight standard took effect on July 1, 2016 and is relaxing regulations to increase...

With Congress lined up for a battle over whether women should be required to register for the draft, there’s one group that is solidly against the idea, a new poll suggests: women themselves. Women are much less likely than men to say women should be required to register for Selective Service when they turn 18, according to a poll conducted earlier this month by The Economist/YouGov. Thirty-nine percent of women supported registration for women, compared to 61 percent of men.

The U.S. is the breast country in the world. American women have the biggest boobs across the globe, with the average babe’s bosom measuring a D-cup (which would be an F in European sizes). The Journal of Female Health Sciences busted out this eye-raising new research after analyzing the volume of breast tissue in 342,000 women ages 28-30 in 108 different countries. They only surveyed ladies who were not pregnant or breastfeeding — and those whose boobs were not surgically enhanced — to get the most natural measurements. “Women born in the U.S.A have by far larger breasts than women...

The Marine Corps is eliminating the job title “basic infantryman” along with 18 others and replacing them with terms that are gender neutral. Others titles, including “rifleman” and “mortarman,” will remain the same, due to their historical and cultural significance for Marines. The service plans to replace 19 of its military occupational specialty titles, the Marine Corps Times reported Tuesday, seven months after Navy Secretary Ray Mabus ordered the Marine Corps to conduct a review of all job titles to ensure gender neutrality. For most of the 19 terms that will be changed, the word “Marine” will replace the...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton threw up a hand symbol after Sen. Elizabeth Warren chanted her name to rally Democratic voters in Ohio today. “Here’s what it boils down to,” Warren said. “Hillary has brains, she has guts, she has thick skin and steady hands, but most of all, she has a good heart and that’s what America needs, and that’s why I’m with her. Clinton stood behind a teleprompter and applauded Warren’s speech while smiling and nodding in approval. As the crowd cheered, Warren shouted, “Are you with her? Are you with her?” before punching the sky and...

The Women for Trump Facebook group was set up as a voice for women who “are fed up with loser politicians who won’t stand up for our freedom or for the USA.” The WFT Facebook page currently has 27,000 followers and is one of the most popular Trump fan pages. Today the Women for Trump Facebook page organizer received this warning from Facebook. The message said Facebook “has received many reports from your page” and to, “Please review your posts for reasons that you have violated our terms.” Facebook then threatens to suspend the page—

Last week, history was made. Or should I say that her-story was made? Hillary Clinton became the first woman to win the nomination of a major political party. It was a historical moment in American politics. It was also a deeply hysterical moment for many women. In fact, so great was the emotion surrounding this landmark achievement that even a conservative female friend of mine had this to say about the nomination: “Regardless of your politics, you have to admit that Hillary’s nomination was a landmark event. It showed that women have come a long way and that they can...

U. S. Marine Capt. Katie Petronio was a dynamo upon graduation from Bowdoin College in 2007. Standing 5 feet 3 inches, she could squat 200 pounds, and she seemed as ready for a combat role as many men were. But just five years later, her body had figuratively started crumbling under the stress of service in Iraq and Afghanistan as a combat engineer officer. Her spine had compressed her nerves to the point of causing neuropathy. Her thigh muscles started to atrophy. She lost 17 pounds and was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, which led to infertility. The experience prompted...

It's no secret that Donald Trump has struggled to win over female voters. Polls show more than 60 percent of women have an unfavorable opinion of the presumptive Republican nominee. But, as the campaign pivots to the general election, are Republican women reconsidering Trump? It's this group of largely white women Trump needs in November. In the key battleground state of Ohio, there are plenty of women who adore Trump — and plenty of women who despise him. But many Republican women seem to be somewhere in the middle. They may not like Trump's tone, but they're willing to vote...

...The women of the Right are allowed to believe things that the women of the Left are not. They are allowed to believe there is a difference between women and men, female and male, and that those differences are real, not a false cultural construct imposed by a self-interested, manipulative patriarchy. Unlike Gloria Steinem, they can express their femininity in any way they choose to, without fear of being accused of a calumnization of the sisterhood. Even more, women of the Right are allowed to accept obvious things rather than engage in exhausting psychic gymnastics to get to a place...
