La Crosse, WI (WXOW) The latest Marquette University poll shows Governor Walker has closed the gap. In September, the Marquette Poll showed Tony Evers with a 49 – 44 lead. Those numbers today are 47 percent support for Governor Walker, 46 percent for Tony Evers, a statistical tie. UW-La Crosse political analyst Tim Dale says in general, more people are paying closer attention to the race. Democrats are planning to force a vote in the Senate this week on overturning a Trump administration rule expanding non-ObamaCare insurance plans. The Democratic resolution, which will likely get a vote on Wednesday, would overturn a rule finalized in August that expanded the availability of short-term health insurance plans. MIDDLETON, Wis. - Authorities are responding to reports of a shooter at a Middleton commercial building Wednesday morning, a Dane County dispatcher said. Police and multiple ambulances were sent Wednesday morning to a Middleton office building on reports of an active shooter in the building, authorities reported. The 911 Communications Center said at about 10:30 a.m. that the shooter was at 1850 Deming Way, which houses companies that include Esker Inc. and WTS Paradigm.
