A Wisconsin Walmart manager recently followed store policy in Northern Wisconsin. They interacted with a long term friend of mine. He is an accomplished world traveler, due to his vocation as a missionary. He has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and Australia. He has often remarked about how little freedom most of the world has, compared to the United States.He is a brave man. A Racine, Wisc., judge ruled Wednesday that the city’s coronavirus safety ordinance was too broad for citizens to understand and violated the state’s constitution, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported. Parents in North Freedom were forced to protect themselves by firing a gun at their son, who allegedly shot in the windows of their home and went into the house with his own weapon, according to a press release from Sauk County Sheriff Chip Meister. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) will force a vote next week on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to decide whether or not he has the authority to issue subpoenas as part of his investigation into the FBI's probe of 2016 Russian election meddling and the Trump campaign. State unemployment staffers are so busy, the Cuomo administration is asking City University of New York employees and civil servants from other agencies to help with the deluge of paperwork and callbacks. A Wisconsin judge ordered the state to take as many as 234,000 people off its registered-voter list Friday because they may have moved — a decision that could impede residents of this swing state from voting in next year’s presidential election. Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin family said they were shocked to discover a live frog inside the salad they bought from a local supermarket. Karlie Allen said her family bought the plastic container of Simple Truth Organic lettuce salad at the Pick 'n Save store in Glendale and didn't discover until inside their home that the container also housed a live frog. Allen said her family planned to return the salad with the frog intact the next morning, but they discovered the amphibian escaped the container overnight and was perched on an outlet by the kitchen counter. Pastor Phil was not raised with guns. He was raised in Chicago, where guns were associated with crime and gangsters. He did not own a gun until he was in his 60's, after taking the call to become pastor of a struggling church in the North woods of Wisconsin. (FOX 9) - Authorities say the murders of four people in two separate shootings in western Wisconsin over the weekend may have been an attempt to copy the abduction of 13-year-old Jayme Closs last fall. Sunday night, law enforcement officers learned two people were found dead and two more were injured at a home in Lake Hallie. He woke in the early morning hours, well before sunrise. What was that noise? It sounded like a mouse, chewing on something. Then he realized the noise was not from inside the house.
