  • What year were you born in?

This is making the rounds on the internet. If you take the number of years between 2021 and your year of birth and then subtract those years from your year of birth, what year would that be? In my case, 2021-1968 = 53. Then 1968 - 53 is 1916. Just for fun, what year would you get?

RUSSIA could wipe out Ukraine's entire military in just 50 minutes, Vladimir Putin has claimed. The threat came as the Kremlin blasted the UK for supporting Ukraine and supplying it with arms as fears of a Russian invasion mount. Russian media reported that the country's deadly Black Sea Fleet and troops in Crimea could "neutralise the Ukrainian Armed Forces in between 50 and 600 minutes" if it felt it was about to be attacked. Glavmedia Telegram cited a "high-ranking source" who told them "in the event of a Ukrainian attack on Crimea or other Russian territories, the Black Sea Fleet...

In a year that has been filled with so many mysteries already, I have another very odd one to share with you. Emergency rooms are filled to overflowing all over America, and nobody can seem to explain why this is happening. Right now, the number of new COVID cases in the United States each day is less than half of what it was just a couple of months ago. That is really good news, and many believe that this is a sign that the pandemic is fading. Let us hope that is true. With less people catching the virus, you...

Amid rising conflict between the United States and Turkey, the latter has announced to purchase Russia's Su-35 and Su-57 fighters 'if the United States freezes the sale of F-16 fighter jets', news agency Sputnik reported on Monday. According to the news agency, Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries, chief Ismail Demir, during an interview with Kanal 7 broadcaster, said that the country would always maintain an option and would probably use it if the US government freezes the sale of F-16 fighter jets. Further, the minister said that the country would go beyond its limit if there would be any threat...

No way in hell you are going to put a wok on an electric stove.”That was Steven Lee, a San Francisco official and restaurant investor, as quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle last year after the city’s Board of Supervisors voted to outlaw natural gas in new buildings.Nevertheless, they persisted. Per the Sierra Club, the quickening campaign to phase out natural gas recently notched its 50th city-level win in California alone. (Take a bow, Encinitas!) No. 50, as with some others, has “situational exemptions” for restaurants and the like, but the overall push to compel an all-electric design for homes...

Legionnaires' disease is a severe form of pneumonia — lung inflammation usually caused by infection. It's caused by a bacterium known as legionella. Most people catch Legionnaires' disease by inhaling the bacteria from water or soil. Older adults, smokers and people with weakened immune systems are particularly susceptible to Legionnaires' disease. The legionella bacterium also causes Pontiac fever, a milder illness resembling the flu. Pontiac fever usually clears on its own, but untreated Legionnaires' disease can be fatal. Although prompt treatment with antibiotics usually cures Legionnaires' disease, some people continue to have problems after treatment.

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona state Rep. Bret Roberts abruptly announced Wednesday he's resigning from the Legislature, just two weeks after he filed to run for reelection. The Republican from Maricopa said stepping down is what's best for his family. His resignation is effective Sept. 30. “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve with you, the Republican caucus, and the entire House,” he wrote in a brief message addressed to his constituents and colleagues and posted on Twitter. “I wish you all nothing but the best going forward and am confident that the House, will continue to do...

It seems justice is finally going to be served to Gov. Andrew Cuomo... Yes, it’s great to watch a man whose thuggish character was apparent throughout his tenure finally being called to account. But there’s something troubling about the way Cuomo is being hustled out of office: Obscured amid the details about his gross behavior and the way his aides and liberal feminist enablers tried to discredit the victims is the fact that Cuomo remains responsible for the deaths of perhaps thousands of elderly New Yorkers during the early months of the pandemic — and for his administration’s ongoing, illegal...

Bobby Foole And His Little God Of Gold. By JAG July 1, 2021 "The fact is", said Bobby Foole, "I truly LOVE sin and evil and I hotly crave to practice both of 'em." "I understand", replied Harris Dookins, Foole's philosopher counselor. "Moreover", added Foole, "I crave to be my own God because I don't want my Creator telling Me what I can and cannot do." "So you do know there is a God that created you?", asked Dookins. "Of course I know that, but I am determined to suppress that knowledge and put it out of my mind." "So...

Four young and healthy British Airways pilots recently passed away and the airline is claiming there is no link to the Covid-19 vaccine. The photo of the four books of condolence sitting next to framed pictures of the pilots was posted to Twitter and authenticated by Reuters. “Reuters presented the claims to British Airways, which said they were unfounded and that no such talks were underway with the government. The spokesperson, however, confirmed the authenticity of the four condolence books, as four company pilots had recently passed away. “Our thoughts are with their family and friends,” they said, adding that...

Meghan Markle today announced she has written a children's book called The Bench, which is inspired by Prince Harry and her son Archie and comes illustrated with pictures of a red-headed soldier. The Duchess of Sussex, 39, said the book was inspired by a poem she had written for Harry on Father's Day the month after Archie was born and would explore the 'special bond between father and son' as 'seen through a mother's eyes'. The story, set for release on June 8, will be illustrated by bestselling Californian artist Christian Robinson, with Meghan saying she wanted the story to...

Katie Couric appears to have gone far beyond her days as a straight news journalist and taken a sharp turn to the left. On Friday night, the 64-year-old former co-anchor of NBC's "Today" show and later anchor of the "CBS Evening News" openly expressed disdain for President Trump and the Republican Party during an appearance on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher." During the show's panel discussion segment, host Bill Maher kicked off a conversation on the GOP lawmakers who overwhelmingly backed the president in Wednesday's second impeachment vote. Couric, who is set to guest host on "Jeopardy!," had no...

Fellow Freepers: Let us speculate on the Pardons President Trump will issue between now and Inauguration Day (whoever takes the oath.). He is now unencumbered by worrying about an election. (for those who say 2024 if not now - why would a sane person do that?) Anyway, I think General Flynn would be first in line. He was screwed over for being a loyal soldier and Trump confidant. The presiding judge refuses to drop the case just waiting for a new justice department to come on board and proceed with prosecution. Roger Stone - convicted for lying during an investigation...

When my husband was stationed to a joint assignment on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. I learned a hard lesson regarding acclimating to the heat. Our children, who were now young teenagers, and I went for a hike on a walking trail in the De Soto national forest. There were wooden walkways over a swamp and corduroy logs defining the trail. It was hot and extremely muggy in the cypress and pine forest. We made it almost to the turn around point but I started to have chest pains and couldn't breathe. My hero son ran back to the trail...

When we were stationed in Germany in the mid 80's I was heavily pregnant with our second child,. The prenatal medical care was very poor, they let me go over my due date by three weeks and our son arrived on his father's birthday, so I gave my husband the best birthday present ever! We were living on the economy near Schweinfurt in an attic apartment owned by a German couple, the Ecks, who did not speak English very much, nor did we speak German very well at all. Before I had our son I was trying to get all...
