MADISON – With Wisconsin facing extreme cold temperatures that have closed schools and governments across the state, the Government Accountability Board will provide a one day extension to those entities that close on January 7th. Before NASA and NOAA start tampering with the data, 2013 is one of the ten coldest years since 1895, and has had the largest year over year decline on record. NOAA of course won’t talk about this, and will massively tamper with the data before releasing it. Normally, one could get your local forecast by entering your city/state or zip code. This only works for some places such as "Lake Charles, LA" (which has a weather center with radar) but not for "Lafayette, LA". It is unclear if it a "database" issue or what the problem with this website. But if you go to the main site (www.weather.gov), one will notice items missing that are normally there (Drought Monitor, December-January-February Forecast) as well as the local forecast webpage.
