The number of mail-in ballots returned as “undeliverable” in the Las Vegas area was nearly three times the margin of victory that President Joe Biden allegedly won the state of Nevada by, according to an election-integrity watchdog. An undocumented immigrant referenced by President Donald Trump in support of building a wall on the southern US border has been charged with killing four people in Nevada this month, prosecutors said Monday. Wilber Ernesto Martinez-Guzman, an El Salvadoran native who was arrested on January 19, admitted to killing a Reno, Nevada, couple using a gun he stole from their home, police said in a probable cause statement. Two days before the Nevada caucuses, Senator Dean Heller (R.,NV) has thrown his weight behind Marco Rubio for president. SPARKS — A 41-year-old Washoe County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested in Spanish Springs after police say he was firing a gun while drunk and threatened to shoot at a sheriff’s helicopter. Sparks police say Robert Brunsvold was arrested Sunday for suspicion of possession of a firearm while intoxicated and resisting police with a firearm. His bail was set at $20,000. It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A pay raise dispute between the Washoe County and its Sheriff's Deputies has come to a close. Sheriff Deputies had requested an increase in pay after the county cut benefits and 51 paid positions last year. Arbitrators Thursday advised in favor of the deputies, saying that their pay was behind national standards. The County was advised to give a three percent pay increase.
