Rep. Martha McSally appears poised to challenge Kelli Ward in what would be a vicious primary fight for Jeff Flake’s Senate seat, but President Donald Trump remains a major wild card. Rep. Martha McSally is taking steps toward launching a challenge to Kelli Ward for Sen. Jeff Flake's seat next year, a move that would set up another scorched-earth primary battle between establishment Republicans and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. The second-term congresswoman indicated her interest in the seat during a closed-door meeting Thursday with Arizona's five-member GOP House delegation, and also met Thursday with Sen. John McCain...

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) attended a fundraiser for Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) on Monday in a bid to support his 2018 Senate reelection campaign against challenger Kelli Ward. Rubio was the headline speaker at the exclusive event in Scottsdale, Arizona, for which lunch tickets cost $100 and VIP tickets cost $500. Thanks to @marcorubio for coming out to Arizona to support @JeffFlake! #AZSen pic.twitter.com/Zq4Ewz1ALg — Flake for Senate (@FlakeforSenate) October 9, 2017 Both Rubio and Flake were part of the “Gang of Eight” that proposed the 2013 immigration bill that sought to provide amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. RUSH: Todd in Grand Island, New York. It’s great to have you on the program. You’re next, sir. How’s it going? CALLER: What an honor to speak to you. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done. RUSH: I appreciate that. CALLER: For everything you do. RUSH: Thank you, sir. CALLER: I had to get right to my point in reference to the 2018 elections. You made a point saying that if the Democrats win 3% of what Donald Trump — in the margin of 3% error if Donald Trump (unintelligible) and the Democrats win those seats, and also if...

Good morning, I’m still reporting on: Sen. Flake Losing to Dr Kelli Ward, 1770 Synopsis: Never-Trumper Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona will face a significant primary challenge one year from yesterday, Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Flake, who has low popularity in Arizona due to his very liberal immigration stance as well as his opposition to all things Trump, is now being walloped in the latest poll by osteopath Kelli Ward. In a sampling of 500 likely Republican households by JMC analytics, Flake trailed Dr. Ward by a 26-point margin – 21 to 47 for Ward with 29% undecided. An astounding...

Kelli Ward, who is challenging Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake in the Republican primary, took aim at Flake and Sen. John McCain in a new campaign ad using President Trump's his criticisms of the two senators. The 45-second ad, titled "Naming Jeff Flake," opens with Trump speaking at Tuesday's campaign-style rally in Phoenix and telling the crowd his White House aides urged him not to attack Flake by name.

The news just keeps getting worse for Jeff 'The Flake' as a new poll shows him trailing Kelli Ward by 14 points. Flake, who voted for Evan McMullin in the 2016 election, only accomplishment as a senator was to push for amnesty as a member of the 'gang of eight'. Flake has spent the last couple of months trying to sell his new book by going on liberal networks to bash the president. Flake siding with Hillary Clinton, Obama, and the democrats on gun control, open borders, on the supreme court, and on unbridled free trade has shown Arizona republicans...

Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake is in trouble from all sides. With a dismal approval rating of 18 percent, he faces a primary challenge from former state Sen. Kelli Ward. At the federal level, President Trump torched Flake for being weak on borders, crime, and being a “non-factor” in the Senate. The president also called him toxic. In July, the Arizona senator’s vulnerabilities were highlighted by FiveThirtyEight, where the publication said it might not be a bad investment for Democrats to find someone to run against Flake since the state is shifting left, he’s never been popular, and he barely won...

A new poll shows Kelli Ward, the conservative Pro-Trump challenger surging against Senator Jeff Flake.Senator Flake refused to support Trump for president in 2016, Flake instead voted for independent spoiler Evan McMullin and even signaled tacit support for Tim Kaine as Vice President. Trying to count the ways I hate @timkaine. Drawing a blank. Congrats to a good man and a good friend.— Jeff Flake (@JeffFlake) July 23, 2016Flake spent 2016 openly mocking Trump and encouraging Republicans not to endorse the president. Flake was one of the GOP leaders pushing the amnesty bill in 2013 and Flake had plans to...

(Not in this article--"Kelli Ward says McCain should quit so she can take over on an Indiana radio station today.") The last Republican to run against Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) called on him to step down "as quickly as possible" following his Wednesday cancer diagnosis.

Ward, a former state senator who stepped down from that post to focus on the U.S. Senate race, trails McCain with Arizona Republicans by just four points heading into election day. Folks, starting early, however please post all info on Kelli Ward vs John McCain. Thanks!

The most immediate embodiment of McCain’s problems is Kelli Ward, 47, a former state senator who knows that Trump crushed the field in the March presidential primary by stoking the fires of Arizona’s long-running battles over illegal immigrants crossing the southern border. Ward is McCain’s main primary challenger Tuesday; she has attended Trump rallies and embraced his rhetoric while highlighting McCain’s bipartisan work on immigration bills that would grant undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship. “He’s the champion of compromise,” she said of McCain in an hour-long interview in a Scottsdale campaign office, not intending it as a compliment. Public...

When Arizona delegates to the Republican National Convention were asked Thursday how many would not vote for Sen. John McCain in next month's primary, more than half of their hands went up. The question stunned veteran pollster Frank Luntz, who had asked it as a part of a presentation on the last day of the convention on the challenges facing the party - one of which was party unity. "Oh my God," Luntz said. "Where's the chairman? You should have told me this before."

PPP's new Arizona poll finds that John McCain has a negative approval rating with Republican primary voters, and is at pretty serious risk of losing nomination for another term. Only 35% of GOP voters approve of the job McCain is doing to 50% who disapprove. He's in particularly poor standing with conservative voters. Among 'somewhat conservative' voters his approval spread is 33/52, and among 'very conservative' voters it drops all the way down to 18/67.
